Club need to back robins by keeping this squad and allow robins the bit of money to get a couple more in,as who would want to be associated with this club even new loan players.

For me the turning point of the season was Goddens injury which forced us back to the box, which is our best formation for the players we have.

I genuinely don’t think it’s a stretch to say there is not a home atmosphere like ours anywhere in the English leagues. Ridiculous.

The box is the best system robins uses and players function the best in it.

The run started at Luton ,but I have to agree ,we look a better side now with vik on his own as vik also seems to be a better player than even last season , improving all the while ..

It's not goddens fault either , vik is just another level to pretty much all forwards in this league

Think we do also have to say that Robins set us up differently

We play slightly different now

There isn't. It's absolutely brilliant. Love the little section in the posh stand that give it all game too.

This.

Yeah we were shit at the start of the season but it was as if the league table had been decided already. We were doomed never to win and Wigan were world beaters.

Agreed, its like a mix of the old possession style and the good old ‘dark art’ ways. Teams much more streetwise

Big, big win. Fantastic performance as well, probably the best of the season. If we can carry this on after the break then this team is going place. Staggering turnaround, especially so in the circumstances.

Agreed, they'll factor in that he could get injured and they'll lose out on a big sale again.
They really need to fuck off.

I have no problem with a sale so long as each window we bring in the next sheaf and or Hamer and or yok what you can’t do is not repeat the process. If yok goes it’s got to be £20m with a couple of million for robins to work wonders if not £5m

Losing him would be a major blow and he'd need to be replaced - teams would also know we'd have money to spend and would be in a desperate place. It's better for us if we can hold out until January.

£5m at the very least. If we sell Vik we’d need to spend big to replace him. Where would you even start?

Favourite quotes from one of the QPR forums so far :

" Size of pitch killing us positionally we’re all over the shop"

" It’s same size we won on last season"

Hyam leaving and Godden being injured have both worked in our favour as has Allen’s unexpected upturn in form

The question is what Robins does when Godden and Waghorn are back fit.

Godden won’t be back after the break will he? I think everyone else is due back though.

Could put this squad out:

Wilson
Rose Fadz Panzo
Dabo Hamer Sheaf Bidwell
Palmer O’Hare
Gyokeres

S: Moore, Doyle, Kane, Kelly, Allen, Walker, Waghorn

Looks a very strong 18

Hyam leaving was a game changer. Had he stayed, he'd have likely played every game and made at least 2 clangers. Panzo is more athletic, Doyle is better on the ball and McFadzean is on a different level to him.

Allen should play ahead of Palmer. He may be limited but he's a vital cog in the high press and creating space for his fellow midfielders.

It always takes Dabo ages to get match sharp, so harsh leaving Eccles out of the squad too.
