First half hour was awful, looked like half of them couldn’t be arsed and none of them had ever met.

After that and up to the goal I thought we were the better side and after the goal they just shut up shop and had no intention of attacking. You can see why they’ve not let any goals in, fuck me id hate to watch that week in week out.

Player wise only Allen really let himself down tonight. Godden didn’t do much but is always a threat.

Waghorn looked like he’d never played first half but much better second half and some really smart balls. Doyle was excellent, Eccles was OK but can’t defend to save his life and therefore isn’t a wingback. Fadz looks another year older, Rose, Bidwell, Sheaf all OK. Wilson one moment of madness he got away with and a couple of great saves. Vik got little service. We were crying out for some quality in the middle until the substitution.

Neil on the phone-in - ‘the whole team played well’ - doing nothing to help my mood.

Doyle motm. Thought Palmer looked good. Godden just wasn’t involved. Not a bad performance. Can see why they haven’t conceded all season, thought they were very good at the back.

Lowe has done a good job their because like it or not they're a tough side. Robins seems to have a blind spot with making us tough to beat

We haven’t played any of the better sides in the league yet. Norwich will murder this side on Saturday, never beat WBA and the side’s confidence will be shot.

It looks seriously grim and you can pretty much entirely put it on our God awful ownership who are clinging on to a fantasy of taking the stadium all the while putting zero into the club. I am sick to the back teeth of seeing other fans having a marvellous time at our expense

He was poor, as he was Saturday. Needs a kick up the arse. Though starting with Hamer might help.

Show's that saving your best players as subs doesn't work as they're "cold" to the match situation.

Blame lies at Robins door for that performance. Team was so disjointed from the start. Killed the crowd off in the first half. If Dabo can't be trusted to play two games back to back he shouldn't be at the club. Recruitment has been dire this summer. Squad looks unbalanced. Wingbacks offer absolutely nothing going forward.

Why the fuck didn’t he play better players from the start? Davo Palmer and Hamer are miles above.

What is it all about. Either MR being an idiot or some signal about selling his players.

Yeah, that's a fantastic take given that we looked weaker with the likes of 'Davo' Dabo on the pitch.

I think Preston’s style is shit. Made to finish mid table in this league. Never get relegated and never challenge playoffs.

I would take that over the season that we’re about to have though.

Ostracising Kane hasn't helped. Bad man-management? Unless the Greggs rumours were true, of course.

He gave the ball away more than the 'golden midget'.
He's got it in him to boss games but he's so frustrating.

Do you think even early last season a lot of our goals were lucky. Rub of the green and deflections etc. When that stopped it turned to shit. 10 wins in 41.

Or am I just in a mood.

A little from column A, a little from column B.

We're definitely not getting the rub of the green at the moment, but possibly we're not doing enough to make our own luck either.

The delayed start to the season hasn't done us any favours, but that looked like an odd team selection too, imho.

Ho hum, onwards and upwards, Robins has turned us around from worse positions than this...

hard to play well alongside Allen I think, it doesn't feel like there's any understanding between them like between him and Hamer. It feels like we are paper thin in those CM slots

The golden midget is Allen btw

thought sheaf was poor because he was covering for a CM that is barely championship standard.

Go back to the box for the foreseeable and just focus on getting some meaningful possession.

What you see is what you get with Allen, there's no more to come.
But Hamer and Sheaf can absolutely run games but they don't do it enough for me.
