He made 3 or 4 really poor passes, which should have been routine, in really good areas when we were attacking.
Other than that he played well.
Never really noticed it at the time but I think you might have a point about looking quicker.
He should have attempted the challenge, if he conceded the foul, and even if he got booked, which I doubt he would of, then so be it.
. It was piss poor from Wright.
That doesn't exonerate Thomas.
I've never agreed with people saying the solution is to treat players on the pitch and let the game continue but after yesterday I'm fully on board with it.
But we were also wasteful against Oxford.
It needs addressing, it's no good everything you hit going in in two games then missing a host of chances in another two.
It's early days and I'm sure we'll be fine but if you're assessing the season so far then it's a valid observation of something...
We scored 12 of our goals in 2 games.
QPR in particular was as much of an anomaly as today.
We need to find a way to finish games like Oxford and today.
We're doing well but some of the superlatives are over the top until we turn dominant performances into point consistently.
If we ever have 2 players booked for time wasting in the 1st half of a game against a team from the same league I will immediately begin campaign for the sacking of the manager
