It's easy to dismiss free agents as cast offs but at the moment there are some really good free agents available. It's definitely a market we should look at.

Don't care what turner says, not a chance we sanction a move for Bassette and Obikwu without having a new forward nailed on, we must have. Centre mid I don't mind, Allen, Eccles and Andrews is enough cover until January. Obviously a CB is an absolute must.

I'd argue we need a forward player more but ideally both. Can't see that we would have let Obikwu and Bassette leave without having at least one forward coming in.

I'm comfortable with Eccles being the cover for Grimes. If we are to do another deal on top of Woolfenden I'd prefer it to be a left winger or striker. That said I'm not overly concerned if we wait till January for the right player rather than spunking cash on a panic buy now.
