Great attitude and clearly a leader but lacks the mobility and technical side of things that we require nowadays - Think he'd be an excellent signing for one of the lower-mid championship teams struggling for consistency

    George Shepherd

He and a few of the other standouts in his age group have been CCFC ST holders and huge fans since they were little so hopefully that influences things This generation have come through at a genuinely successful club with a positive environment and winning mentality unlike those lads who came...

When you 'help' an old lady across the street you aren't catapulting her are you ffs Point is he is a good bloke who scored a few important goals and contributed his bit to our rise from obscurity to where we are now

He's a great lad and a really good player and leader who loves the club - had him down as future club captain since I first saw him in the U12s 🤞

This Still amazes me how happy people are to write off our players. He clearly had great work rate, good attitude, and plenty of good technical attributes but missed a few sitters and many just assume he is useless as a result

How well will Wrexham and Birmingham do?

As if he wasn't dislikeable enough ffs Worst take of all time? Top clubs should be 'protected at all costs' - Wagner

Interestingly, I always thought the whole cretins shouting 'forward!' whenever there is an attempt to build up play was a purely football thing, but over here in Aus there is an AFL podcast called 'Kick it Forward', named after exactly the same phenomenon as it also happens at Aussie rules games.

    Injury Updates

Really interesting! He's describing something called heterotopic ossification, which I have seen a few times after a patient has ignored fracture healing advice, leading to abnormal bone growth around the injury. Not sure I have seen it from soft tissue injury before though!

    Championship thread 25/26!

If an assault happened in the game that would still be punished Cards are for enforcing the games laws rather than being anything to do with the result of a game

    Championship thread 25/26!

It's a good question :ROFLMAO: I suppose its just that as others have said, if someone has been carded for doing something dangerous/shitty it should stand regardless of whether the result of the game stands

    Championship thread 25/26!

I suppose first and foremost a Y/R card is meant as punishment for an individual player's actions rather than something designed to impact the result of a given game Whereas obviously goals are very much the latter so need to be wiped if the game is replayed

    All Cov Are Bastards

Yeah this is fair For me the only real rivals are Leicester + Birmingham/Black Country teams in terms of proximity and Sunderland + Sheff Utd in terms of recentish history Everyone else mean nothing to me NOTHING

    All Cov Are Bastards

Don't really get why people feel the need to play down these rivalries tbh... Human nature to look at certain groups as rivals based on proximity/history and they are the games I look forward to the most every season As long as people don't take it too far it only adds to the experience of...
