Fair points Pipkin, but I still cant see a huge take up in interest by the local population in rugby, whichever team it is. There might be expats who want to watch it, but lets face it that's not new fans attracted to the sport. Rugby is and will always be a more minority sport.

They may well get massive air time in the arabic market, but will anyone be watching? Rugby is not a traditional Arabic sport, so whether the market is massive it doesn't really matter if few are interested, and I say this as a Rugby fan. (Not of Wasps though)
