    Cov Dog

A bloke walks into the Squirrel with his dog, there is a live Cov game on the TV. He walks up to the bar and the Barman says "sorry sir, but there are no dogs allowed in this bar". Undeterred the man says "I'm sure you wont mind this dog - he does a trick every time he sees city doing something...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

TBF Nick there was a similar article in CET when rumour of the initial offer was around and Hoffman denied to the telegraph that anything was happening

Robins leads us out at Wembley.

I agree with this. Scumbag is a bit strong, more like duplicitous twat. It wasn't the fact that he left us, it was the way he did it. There really wasn't any need for the skyblue blood statement, why couldn't he have been honest? Wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. He has done...

    Takeover

My understanding is that the council still own the freehold, WASPS only own the leasehold. I that case WASPS would have no say in it at all, it would be down to the council.

    JR2

I am not sure whether they were offered the same terms, but I do remember Tim Fisher stating that they would not take on the £15 million loan that ACL had taken out as part of the deal, but WASPS did.

    Mowbray's got a new job..

It will be interesting to see how he does at Chesterfield. If he keeps them up then gets them into the playoffs next season can we safely blame SISU for all the woes we have here?

Can the Telegraph sink much lower?

I agree that Gilbert is a bit of a tosser, but I don't understand why you lot are moaning about the Slade article. Let's face it, the first run of bad results and you will all be queuing up to say how shit Slade is and how he should be sacked at the first opportunity.

    Parliamentry debate live feed.

I think it is becoming clear to everyone that no matter what your views on who is at fault in all this, the only way forward for the football club is if SISU sell up.

    C'mon lads! It's caption time!

Mowbray: Looking on the bright side, at least there won't be much traffic on the M6 on a Wednesday night!

    Ben turner

Think about it this way, we had both of them last season at different times, and they still only covered about half the season between them. Too much risk I'm afraid. I think Ben and Reda are great players, but it's no good if they are not on the pitch for at least 60-70% of the season.

    Thoughts

You forgot the court case. They have set the team up to not lose money while they try to hang the council and wasps out to dry. Once all that is finished they will sell up.

    Do you think

They might be pros but they are still human and will respond to the crowd. They are playing against equally talented professionals, sometimes an encouraging crowd is enough to give them that bit of an edge required to win a game. No one said it was the fans fault for our bad run, but the fans...

    Do you think

Errrrrrrr....yes, football fans are always the same, all cheers and smiles while things are going well, quiet grump, moaning as soon as things do not. While it isn't CV the whole reason we have slumped, it certainly doesn't help. Young Murphy, who comes in for a lot of stick, I noticed has...

    Carl Baker

Honest bloke who gave his all. Decent bloke who engaged with the fans, wore the shirt with pride and never had a bad word for our fans, City or team. Opposite to Grendel really.
