I’ve got that programme at home but have no recollection of the game. Was probably being an annoying 7 year old arsehole to my dad

    What was your first game

That was the Wimbledon game when Richard Shaw was sent off as well and we came back to draw 3-3 from 3-1 down with 9 men. I think David Rennie scored the equaliser.

    What was your first game

The first game I can recall going to was one against Everton in the late 1970’s but can’t remember which year. The first game I can remember attending and the result was the 3-1 win against Crystal Palace when Clive Allen hit the stanchion of the goal from a free kick and the goal wasn’t given.

    What was your first game

I worked on Matchdays at the club at this time, he booted the door down the tunnel as he walked off as he was fuming as he felt Bergkamp had dived…left some lovely stud marks in the door!

    Noel Whelan

Remember that goal well, and another similar againt Everton (I think) the same season. Also a goal against Liverpool where he stuck out his leg mid air to wrap it around that ball and guide it in. Real maverick, and a nice bloke...just a bit of a wild one at times 😂

    Team you dislike the most

Sadly I cant raise my mental football age above that in terms of teams I dislike.

    Team you dislike the most

Sunderland for me, just their obsessional attitude to us, and my dads family were all Geordies and hated them as well. Close second to Villa/Leicester/Blues and a special mention to Sheff Utd, which is part down to how they were in our relegation season and I lived in Sheffield for a while and...

    9 Years Ago Today...

That sent a shiver down my spine. Its not many managers that I thought were worse than Thorn or Coleman, but Russel Slade managed it. Sometimes it best to look forward than back...definitely in this case 😂

    Terry Yorath - RIP

Great player and leader, was only young when I saw him play for us. A good man who suffered the tragedy of losing his son. RIP Terry

    Haji shite

It’s embarrassing, but not surprising, as some of our fans love a boo boy. I remember living in Sheffield years ago and taking a mate who is a Middlesbrough fan to watch us play (and beat) Sheff Utd. As the teams were read out a lot of fans booed our left back Paul Edward’s…it was so fucking...

    Johnny Got His Gun

If I cant get to, or watch a game, this site is way ahead of BBC sport, and much better to check on what's going on live. Its also better for positivity/negativity/madness/delusion/camaraderie/arguments** **Take your pick

    1984 Cov v Lesta

Was there, aged 12 in the West End...too young to get involved in any shenanigans with anything off the pitch! Few old memories there, Martin Jol, Stuart Pearce, Nickly Platnauer and Kirk Stephens in addition to some of the longer serving players of our club, like Benno, Oggy, Gynn and Peake
