It's quite likely the gap will narrow and the pressure will increase in the next couple of weeks. I'm a bit more comfortable with Rudi, the Tank and Lati providing a gutsy backbone. Hopefully Grimes can get to peak form to lead and help control things.
Will be a very tough game they absolutely not mugs. Id play tats first half and see how Stoke setup. Maybe bring Esse on early 2nd half to see if his unpredictability can open them up if they are holding us.
I guess Simms will play, can't risk Wright with any sign of an injury that could get...
Tats is one of the few players we have that I can see as ready in our Premiership side. Just a solid contributer who can also turn a game. A solid asset.

I think it's more that the complexity and nuance of football can't be adequately captured by some simple maths. So the maths looks stupid to people who actually watch games with their own eyes and use their experience and brains.
But you can carry on being just dumb.
When we are holding on to a lead like this you really want Grimes to step up, control the ball and release people forward. For him to get a hold of the game more.
Especially now he's got the tank.
