MR did an interview at the start of the season discussing Max and made comments RE him not being up to the level etc. He then threw in the injury and it sounded like he needed to get up to speed but I think it was basically implied he doesn’t fancy him at this level. And I agree to an extent...

Love the guy and think he brings something different off the bench. Same for Baka. But realistically he’s probably not up to first team standard IF the intention is to challenge for top 6 (or even top 2 for the optimists).

Disclaimer - I thought/think he’s been immense in all four games.

Looks a beast. But for the consistent and immense Kelly would be captain. Three games in granted, but he looks a quality signing. Very few “hoofs” and muscles strikers out for fun. Loves a Hollywood pass and most seem to land. Well done MR/scouting team.
