Why are male footballers wearing bras?

They will probably also play a huge part in why the players should come back after lockdown looking lean, rather than like Neil Ruddock after the end of season break.

    Lyle Taylor

If he was refusing to play for Charlton ahead of a move to City we’d already be sending him heart emojis on Instagram calling him a legend. At the end of the day he has a contract which, if he breaks, his club can sue him presumably for damages and he will have to deal with that. I don’t...

I’d certainly be concerned if we proceed to play 2 up top. If we stick with one I can’t see MR and the recruitment team throwing a lot of wages at a new third choice striker. Also, not sure anyone much better would come to play 5-10 times in a season including early rounds of the cups (if there...

I think he will happily accept being third choice to be honest.

Just how big is our fan base ?

I’m hoping for a combination of common and financial sense from both sides. Won’t hold my breath though.

    Championship favourite fixtures....

Few great away (possible - yes some will go up/down) days from the last 20 odd years following; Derby, Sheff Weds, Villa, Brum, Barnsley, West Brom, Leeds, Forest. Bring it on.

Just how big is our fan base ?

I think next season, presuming we are back at our rightful (albeit tenanted) home, I’d be disappointed with anything less than a 15k average and a couple of 28k plus attendances. Trying not to think too much about the equivalent at StAn.

Same height... thanks for the reminder that I need to lose some timber.

I’m going to concur with you before I watch the vid. He’s not rapid, he’s not particularly strong. But his positioning is arguably a level above as his is finishing (when match fit). I personally think he will do well in the league above if we stick with a similar system and wouldn’t be...

    New Shirt(s) 2020-21

    Sex wee..... but unlikely.

Transfer rumours (isn't it nice to talk about football!)

Doh.... I thought you meant his younger brother, Gary. Ignore me. Craig Gardener past it and doesn’t fit the MR mould so can’t see any truth in that.

Would be a reasonably decent signing.

Transfer rumours (isn't it nice to talk about football!)

First signing we should make is Mark Robins on a longer deal.

Video 2019-20 SO FAR | Marko Marosi

I heard Stockdale has been told he is released next month. It did make me wonder whether I’d have him over Marko. I wouldn’t. Another great signing this lad who is primed to play at the next level and another contender for player of the year. Dabo just edges it for me but this guy could be a...

    Club shop

Bought the boy and girl junior two-tone full kits for £28. Great quality and they look brilliant. Just hope they can wear them at a game before they grow out of them!

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Great stuff. And with the signs being relegation in all divisions is non negotiable, there is a very real possibility that we can add the Villa to the list of cracking local derbies next season. Just hope we get to go and see a few of them!

Video 2019-20 SO FAR | Fankaty Dabo

He’s got an 84 TOTSSF card on Fifa for anyone who plays. Standout player of the season for me, albeit after a shaky start.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Not sure I agree. Yes he’s untested at that level but fully fit (as much as possible with his long term injury) with a run of games he looked a class above. Of course he may have gone on another baron spell had the season not come to a halt but I wouldn’t write him off just yet.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Yeah, just a desperate grab for the limelight surely. I’d be amazed if a Court didn’t find that particular head of “damage” too remote from any breach on the part of EFL or any individual club(s). It’s like me going after Boris because lockdown meant I couldn’t attend a job interview, which if...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

So part of his case is that, by denying them a play-off place, one of their players will not have the chance to flourish in the league above and consequently they may lose out on a £25m transfer fee from a Prem team? What utter nonsense. His lawyer must be rubbing her hands together.
