He was very good vs Swindon away and also made a good impact in the Arsenal cup game. Offered something different to McGoldrick, not sure how he would link up with Clarke. Don't think he has enough pace to lead the line on his own.
I hadn't thought of that but guess it makes total sense - well in that case it's even less surprising it will get sold for naming rights given that ACL will be getting the money in. There's no benefit to them of calling it the Jimmy Hill stand or whatever.
I'd rather SISU sold the naming rights to stands than sold key players - unfortunately they do both. If it was a straight choice the stand could be called the Platinum Lace Stand for all I'd care.
Be interesting to see how they got on, I think we were premature in getting rid of McPake, think if we could have got him playing he would be a starter and possibly captain now.
When I was a kid I used to live in the North East and my old man used to get me out of school early to go watch midweek games.
Come on Torchy sort yourself out!
Just watch where he sticks his trunk..
Remember when I was a lad he did the old pretend to handshake and then put his hand on his nose trick. Pulled the fuckers shorts down as retribution!
I've done it at Spurs, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Reading, WBA, Birmingham, Villa and Bolton.
Treat it like life in general, if you don't go looking for trouble; trouble won't come looking for you.
Agree with Otis, they are huge. Personally would rather be in the playoffs than JPT final though so if fatigue is an issue I would prioritise League games and chase that rather than JPT.
Haven't been to a game since MK Dons, are players looking fatigued? Late wins vs Preston and today suggest...
