Great news. I suppose if it has to happen, you’d rather it happened there with the experts ready to go.
I look forward to the inevitable and needed investigation into the decision (or lack of) over the continuing coverage.
If it is worst case for him (I really hope not) perhaps they will call the whole thing off. You can’t expect Denmark or Finland to carry on. Then you’ve got all of his teammates in other sides.
In the past it’s all been one feed used by the various broadcasters. Presume that hasn’t changed. Nothing stopping the bbc cutting the feed though. In retrospect I imagine they already wish they did sooner.
Sky saw fit to cut the cameras away as soon as that Everton player broke his ankle on the pitch. I just cannot get my head round them keeping the cameras on here.
Fair enough mate everyone had their own opinion of what constitutes a dire game. For me it’s a boring 0-0 with less than a handful of shots. Not 3-0 with the superior side having 25 odd attempts.
Seems outrageously unfair the home advantage for some teams. Yes England benefit but it just doesn’t sit right. Finland have to play Denmark and Russia in their own stadiums as if they don’t have a difficult enough task already.
We are 6th August. Selfishly hoping it doesn’t get put back another four weeks…. Just too close for comfort. Agreed we will just go with the scaled down reception now if we have to instead of postponing again.
