COH for me who, incidentally, needs a song.
Callum O’Hare is skyblue, is skyblue, is skyblue
Callum O’Hare is skyblue
He hates Villa
(London bridge is falling down)
He’s here
he’s there
he’s every fuckin where
O’Hare, O’Hare
More predictable puns. Change the tuna lads.
Good luck Will. Looks to have a bit of the x-factor about him and his attitude seems spot on. Could do him the world of good this move.
The good old days. When you could leave your front door unlocked and not worry about getting robbed (coz you had fuck all worth nicking). And everybody turned a blind eye to dirty Derrick at number 24 noncing his nieces and nephews.
In fairness you’re right about similar flounces early on from a minority in the ground. My new neighbour for the season was giving the team pelters, apparently we never looked like scoring either (two minutes after Sheaf hit the bar - is that not the definition of “looking” like scoring?). Was...
It was a nothing incident really, he wasn’t through on goal, but he made his point to the ref quite passionately (I presume that he felt it was unintentional - which it was). Very similar to the penalty that wasn’t.
I was far away from it, but it appeared very similar to the handball he gave them first half when their guy kicked it at Waghorn and it hit his hand. That was obviously not in the box but as with certain fouls it seems two different rules being applied depending on the area of the pitch.
I think the Forest fans went mute because the play turned and they had an idea that an equaliser was coming. A key difference today was our fans’ reaction to conceding versus theirs. And on that note I had forgotten how good we are at responding to going a goal down. Few teams I recall have fans...
As will happen every…..single…..match thread.
Im really glad to be back in the stadium as I don’t check on here until HT and then FT. With ifollow I found I was reading as I watched which is about as good for the soul as Facebook 🤣
I don’t know mate I suppose I just have a different view of what constitutes “very poor”. 3-0 down at half time without getting out your half is very poor. Largely matching a team (a well established one at this level) but for one or two chances for them I’d class as average. As for the second...
We really weren’t. Average first half (as were Forest) and decent second half with an excellent last 10-15 minutes. To say we were poor is just unfair. That was more than adequate for an opening game performance.
Ah, just saw the poster. I’ve been reeled in.
Love this mate. My 11 year old daughters first “proper” game (did two at Stans). She was arms crossed first half but nearly hit the stadium roof jumping up when the winner went in. That’s how you hook them for life boys…. Already planning on how she will ask her mum if I can pick her up for...
