Hypothetically £5m is bugger all to them and they could sign him with a view to developing and loaning him out if they wanted. Not like he’d be a £30m outlay with a view to starting straight away. I could believe this rumour.
Given how he strikes a ball he’s not a bad utility player to have in the squad. Can play a few positions as he’s shown and traditionally has been good one out of every four games he plays.
Based on the last two he can actually offer something at this level and he will be a low earner so I see...
If any of COH, Hamer or Sheaf leave between now and the 31st we’d be massively weakened for the remainder of the season. Even if we did sign an equally good “oven ready” replacement (we wouldn’t) they’d need to get fit and acclimatise.
I like this, but gonna have him anytime rather than first. Kano to then run the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of their fans Adebayor style.
Yeah I rate Waghorn and actually think he could be a key player in a front two. But he doesn’t look like being prolific and him up top on his own supported by COH and Allen screams brewer’s droop.
Thankfully we’ve got Gyo who looked sharp against P’boro and I think will find his scoring boots...
Not too dissimilar to a fruit growing place I went to a few years ago for a meeting. Middle of nowhere. Endless rows of dilapidated caravans that the (Romanian?) workers lived in throughout the season. 12 - 14 hours hours a day picking fruit. Granted I don’t know what they were being paid and...
I thought that outrageous attempt by Gyo where he chested it, volleyed it over their guy with his knee, knee’d it up again and then volleyed at goal was going in. Pisser that would have been, at least from where we were.
To be fair we’re about to sign another championship level defender apparently. So maybe he does. Or are you suggesting he should also insist the board don’t charge excessive interest on their loans?
