    Rotherham Fan in Peace

Yes, that's how I see it. We won't be relegated by losing tonight, and we won't be safe if we win. There are still 15 points to be had after tonight's game, and only 2 opponents with anything other than self respect to play for.

Of the bottom 6 clubs, us, Rotherham, and Huddersfield are the only clubs that have safety in their own hands

I think they will lose to Brum, who are on a good run and are not safe yet. Rotherham will have played 4 games in 8 days by that game.

It works for us as well, of our 6 remaining games we have Stoke, Millwall, and Preston who will have nothing to play for and possibly Huddersfield by the time we play them. Does anyone think we will win all 3 (or 4) of them?

Missing open goals and hitting the woodwork don't win you games. We have hit the woodwork more than any other team in the division, and are famous for missing chances. I don't think you can attribute that to bad luck. Rotherham are probably in this position purely because they have lost or drawn...

    Today’s games

I'm expecting a defeat on Saturday, but remember last season when Brentford looked certain for auto promotion until the last couple of games, and then imploded, losing to at home to Barnsley of all teams who escaped relegation by 1 point. It's probably a bit early for teams to be affected by the...

    Today’s games

We need to face the fact that all teams around us will almost certainly pick up points between now and the end of the season, and there will be some surprise results, probably good and bad for us. It's a bonus when a rival team loses a game we expected them to win, e.g. Rotherham losing to...

    Pask is better than Hyam

Pask impressed many of us with his pace and calmness when he first came, and then got injured IIRC. He hasn't been given a fair chance though, and this is something MR could be criticised for. He does stick with favourite players too long when they are not performing well I think.

    Bristol City (H)

They did beat Swansea and Middlesborough away in February, their other away win in that run was Birmingham prior to their manager change. That result got Karanka sacked. Swansea had lost 4-1 to Huddersfield and only managed one goal against us prior to the Bristol game. Bristol have lost 9 of...
