Rate Our Season ON The Pitch

A numeric rating is so different depending on how you look at the question as to be completely pointless. Coventry City Struggling to stay up in league one with all evidence pointing towards us getting relegated next season = terrible Staying up when starting on minus ten, with hardly any...

Andy Turner tells it how it is...

The football league had no option? they have broken their rules multiple times this season in regard to us already. It doesn't seem like they have no discretion to me. Any award that involves ticking a few boxes and with no ability for discretion when something no in a tick box goes massively...

Andy Turner tells it how it is...

I don't understand how it's complicated, This award is "“The Football League Family Excellence Award gives clubs a standard to aspire to when planning their efforts to attract more families and young fans to their matches." and they obviously check if that is achieved by achieving certain...

Andy Turner tells it how it is...

I'm sure the actually clean beaches award is fit for purpose, it was a hypothetical example of giving an award for a clean beach based on acheiveing specific tick boxes that don't take into account something that completely goes against the spirt of the award which is the exact case here. It...

Andy Turner tells it how it is...

Yes it is, that beach shouldn't get a clean beach award because it's not clean even though it ticked the boxes and coventry city shouldn't get an award for being good for families despite ticking boxes because ccfc probably is the worst club in the country to support for families. "matchday...

Andy Turner tells it how it is...

Because it's ridiculous that the criteria can't take things like our situation into account, it's like winning a clean beach award because you tick the box for low litter, no sewage and crystal clear water oh but the local power plant pumps radioactive water out onto the beach, no matter. ccfc...

Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

Not talking about who was playing games (though I disagree with you), I'm saying that the football leagues position (on which they based their actions) is that ccfc was kicked out of the Ricoh Arena. How on earth could ACL trust the football league to be an independent mediator when they came to...

Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

acl wouldn't be happy with the football league surely, they have shown they will listen just to sisus side lock stock and barrel no matter how obviously incorrect it is. Weather thats due to sheer incompetence or due to being bullied by lawyers we perhaps will never know.

Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

I wasn't raking up the past or suggesting sisu were the reason there was no independent mediation in the past. I was saying 18 months ago there was no good reason not to push for independent mediation, however it's now been proved without doubt sisu shouldn't continue to be owners of our club...

Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

18 months ago there were none, now after SISU have shown they are willing to cause massive damage to the club with the exceptionally illogical (in terms of ccfc's interests) and willing to lie and mislead everyone, any solution that ends with them staying in charge of the club is an unacceptable...

    Like a damp squib

Has the title been fixed? it's making everyone elses posts look like they are in the wrong. Or is this the original title and everyone else is wrong?

    Flag Advice

I hope if we are lucky enough to come out of this mess, get new owners and move back to the ricoh I hope we drop the "we are Coventry" I associate it with all this shit and evil owners and for that reason I voted for the other one.

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

I'd be very surprised if it costs the same to light the bescot as it does the ricoh, don't higher leagues have higher standards on the quality of lighting? but it's true the difference is likely to be low hundreds of quid at most. but I agree they have lost the business I already posted " if...

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

Sky Blue John posted about six fields and wembley, you responded to that post asking him why. Back on topic this is a night game is that the reason for charging more than they have done to the ladies in the past?

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

I was talking about the cost to rent as a whole which is what the thread is about. Match day costs should not be affected affected by stadium build cost of course, though it's still the case that match day costs increase as stadium size increases and with better facilities, the biggest cost...

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

because sixfields cost about 6mill to build, the ricoh about 100 mill and wembley 800 mill. The larger better featured stadia have higher costs (including mortgages and loans) and provide more capacity, better facilities an all round better environment so they cost more to rent. But you know...

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

    SISU lost the club £4M

£5 JPT home games have to be bringing the average down alot. Especially since that JPT semi final was getting close to 10% of the seasons attendance. Also as the attendance drops free tickets become a larger percentage of the total which again lowers the amount taken per visitor. It's also...

The season was a decent outcome for anti-SISU fans

We did have something to play for, staying up. We won the 2 vital relegation battles despite probably not deserving to win either, even losing one of those games could have relegated us, fortunately we didn't.
