Open letter from Joy and Tim

They have made their points politely and with the appearance of reason multiple times before admittedly it's not the most common way they have acted, if they are continuing to lie and mislead (which you accept that they are) and have just decided to continue with legal action why is this...

fair comment but My point holds exactly the same with 6mill in turnover. 6 Million x 0.6 (ie 60%) = 3.6million to spend on player wages alone not including anyone 20 or under on the first day of the season from the youth system. So lets assume this means we have a squad of 12 people who will...

Open letter from Joy and Tim

SCMP applies to league one and allows up to 60% of your turn over for player wages. If we were at the Ricoh with a sponsor and selling merchandise etc like we were before they deliberately ruined the club we would not want to be spending more than 60% of our turnover on the wages of say 12...

Open letter from Joy and Tim

I understand it perfectly thank you, Firstly there is the obvious points like 1) if you care about revenue then moving to Northampton looks even more ridiculous. 2) ACL offered to let them use the revenue for ffp calculations though not actually give them the money. 3) they sold the rights to...

Open letter from Joy and Tim

They don't make fair points, the whole ffp thing is complete bollocks, it's at best massively misleading and misrepresenting the situation

    The March Thread

no it wasn't, it was a greedy hedge fund who wanted to get a stadium on the cheap and had no intention of making a fair rent deal that took us away and that hedge fund leaving that would bring us back.

Open letter from Joy and Tim

I know the tone is different, I don't disagree that the tone is different, but the actions and lets be honest the actions are all that matter are exactly the same, they have just appealed which shows they have no intention of a deal being done with acl. Thats why its more manipulation, if they...

Open letter from Joy and Tim

Tim Fisher said after the JR that they were willing to talk but he also said that they have always been willing to talk. The fact they have just appealed the JR suggests nothing has changed and that there is no softening. If they had said in this e-mail that they wern't going to appeal the JR...

Open letter from Joy and Tim

I read the e-mail thought what a lot of bollocks, nothing new, just a bit more polite and manipulative than usual, came here and expected to see a lot of criticism of the letter and there is lots of talk about a step forward and lots of positivity, I can't understand it at all.

    Sixfields

In space no one can here you scream. At Sixfields all you need to do is fart and everyone will hear you.

Acl to comment on Ricoh arena position

Obviously paying significantly less rent would have helped but the break even number was so high mostly due to other costs (wages in particular) a better rent deal (something like the 400k discussed) would have lowered the break even to something like 20k with back of the napkin calculations...

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

yes it's ludicrous, I say if the majority of your posts are criticizing acl/ccc/people critazing sisu AND you attend sixfields AND you never sing sisu out or we want to go home then you give the APPEARANCE of support or acceptance and your response is does that mean if I don't go to the Russian...

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

Torch, Grendel and Nick all 3 of them in the last couple of pages have deliberately taken peoples arguments to stupid levels to criticise them.

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

you really are, you surely see the massive gaping holes in that argument and how it doesn't apply in the slightest.
  15. N

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

again another example of taking an argument to a ludicrous level as it's the only way you can argue against it. Not to mention the fact I've said multiple times its the combination of posts here along with the lack of protest their that gives the apperance of support. football fans in the...

I haven't told you to stop you absolutely should do whats best for you and your family, we all should.

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

Whose saying you should do things to be accepted? I've said you absolutely should ignore what we think and go to sixfields if it's right for you. I'm not telling you should sing sisu out, I'm telling you if hundreds of coventry fans that like a sing along are together at a game where Tim Fisher...

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

I don't have a problem with you going to sixfields in the slightest, I disagree with it but consider your viewpoint on this issue equally valid as mine and even if I didn't doing whats best for your son is above all else. My issues with you (and the vast majority of peoples issues with you) is...

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

If you think Sisu are 90% to blame and the council 10% but 95% of the posts are critasing sisu so because of that you try to "fix" the imbalance by posting 100% of the time against the council or against those critasing sisu you don't improve the balance at all. what you do is cause arguments.

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

True but while it's the case that how you feel about big government shouldn't relate at all to how you feel about gay marriage there is imo at least alot more of it on the right and these things seem to get tied together, in America it's very strongly the case, less so here. Seems to me people...
