If you own a leasehold home, in theory once the lease expires the property standing on the leasehold ground then belongs to the leaseholder. This doesn't usually happen in practice (if the lease is extended prior to expiry)...
My understanding is that Administration will occur on Wednesday if no bail out happens. Monday is the day HMRC issue a winding-up action if the taxes are not paid. I assume that between close of business on Monday and Wednesday at 3.25 ?? if a bailout occurs then HMRC could cancel the winding-up...
As said, it's just kicking the can down the road, it would be TOTALLY unsustainable, and maybe some of the more sensible councillors (if there are any) will see this and vote accordingly.
The press should be all over this today - before the meeting.

Shown in the post by Duffer (957). The only change is HMRC becoming a preferred creditor in 2020 for PAYE / NI / VAT etc. collected by the insolvent company on behalf of HMRC
