Always a good win away at Boro. Some good performances amongst it as well. Thought Eccles was excellent and Sheaf is getting back to full fitness.

Why are we obsessed with his role in a first 11. What happens if Wright is injured or Sakamoto? He can play on both flanks and through the middle. A very useful addition. The form will come - he’s good enough.

I think this year we made a mistake. We had new coaches and a few new players and at the first international break the squad went on holiday. That should have been time on the training pitch.

I wouldn’t be starting Rudoni at LWB. It’s not a long term thing for me. I’d go back to a flat back four. Sheafs return to fitness means the old system can work. Front three of Wright, Simms, Saka with Rudoni in behind.
