My old man has got the bug and is interested in going following last night (first time he has been for years) so that’s hopefully one extra 😊 Sadly I’m working
Caveat, my marks are based on the 80 minutes I was there to watch the match. Needed to leave early to be sure to get on a bus, given my father’s mobility issues
Wilson: 6 - Did not have too much to do
Eccles: 4.5 - Very poor first half, seemed to start on the half way line when building attacks...
Thank you all, tickets booked. It’s his first time going for a few years. I guess even if somebody might be overly zealous then it’s money for the club.
Hopefully will be decent numbers for these 2 home games, particularly given that afterwards there’s no good football for a month
Hello all, apologies for going slightly off topic. I’m planning to bring my father to tomorrow’s match, but he has very recently had replacement knee surgery. Will he be allowed to take his crutch into the ground?
I’m just looking forward to now seeing bumper crowds to swell the coffers now all those ‘I’m not buying a ticket until SISU go’ will return in their thousands...
...or probably not
I will hold my hands up and say that it looks like I was wrong about Wilson. I always had reservations about him, and it used to annoy me how he came across as a bit of a clown on the club’s social media.
I’m not bothered about his distribution, if a goalkeeper keeps clean sheets then he is...
I thought the club approached the EFL to request the matches be reversed, yet the EFL denied this request (did we not have the first number of matches reversed in our first season at the Ricoh?). I find it rather callous of the EFL to impose any form of punishment if they are the ones who...
I’ve read that Chelsea are looking to offload three players. Of the three mentioned, I think Matt Miazga would be a good long term permanent replacement for Mcfadzean. Just my own speculative opinion.
If this were SISU and CCFC, this would be at the top of the Telegraph website. But instead it’s been tucked away, half way down the page after an article about killing flies with a 55p ‘hack’!
There are a few at Chelsea who have some potential;
Ian Maatsen, Left Back who spent least season on loan at Charlton Athletic, playing over 30 games.
Ike Ugbo, scored 15 in 30 for Brugge
Armando Borja, who netted 10 in 30 at Vitesse
Ugbo would be the pick of those in my opinion
James, Shipley, Gyokeres, O’Hare, McFadzean (o.g not included), Kelly (?) are my guesses for the players who scored 3 goals
Godden, Walker, Hamer and Biamou scored more than 3
I was so close to moving to Melbourne a few years ago. It ultimately came down to a choice between myself and the other candidate. I was absolutely gutted...it has always been my dream to move to Australia, such an amazing country. Sadly for me that dream is now over as I hit the big 4-0 this...
