"As a supporter, it has been very difficult to see the club playing outside the region and the new stadium plans are vital in getting Coventry City back in the Coventry area. I am also here in a very neutral capacity" er, thats not "neutral", thats the SISU line

Wider cost to business & the City of Coventry

not sure who is claiming £20 million, but I must say, imagine this season the amount of sponsorship / corporate / hospitality that is being lost. I wouldn't say £20 million was right, but its not completely crazy. Many of our games had over 10,000 attending, and then cups games on top of that...

Wider cost to business & the City of Coventry

Jack, there are many who would spend a fair bit. Take your pick from... beers food car parking / public transport Bettting programmes club shop casino etc. It certainly wouldnt surprise me to hear that the "matchday experience" over and above the ticket price averaged at £20 +

even at a basic 10,000 x 23 matches, x £10pp in transport, a drink and food (and that would be very conservative I would suggest) thats £2.3 million and that doesnt include anyone who used to go out in coventry to the local pubs, resturants etc after the game

CCFC comments on rent - cov city mad.

yer, a struggling championship club as opposed to a league one club playing 34 miles from home and in more debt that greece Care to add to the "ABC Maths" to make the Northampton move make sense ?

CCFC comments on rent - cov city mad.

Over paid ? If anything, compared to this season, we have made too much profit... At Ricoh..........£10 a ticket x 10,000 x 23 (home games) = £2.30 million At Sixfields......£15 a ticket x 2000 x 23 (home games) = £690k Take off the £1.2 million "rent" and thats £1.1 million profit from the...
