We should play 1-4-4-1. The first being a new position "Fumble Back" to clear the ball each time the keeper drops it.

Maybe they're sacking him because he has sky blue blood. I know I wouldn't be happy if one of our managers had red blood.

    Lameira through balls

From memory, the Lameiras pass was a different incident, where the ball ran too far and Tudgay had to go right and cross it.

    Lameira through balls

I love to see a side playing a ball along the floor between defenders for a striker to run onto. I've seen Lameiras do that twice now: the first a very clever delayed pass for Armstrong and the second for Tudgay yesterday which unfortunately didn't lead to a goal. He's worth his place if he...

10 pts from possible 15(2pt target)

It's not meaningless to change your opinion in the light of new information - quite the opposite in fact. Go on, we're on the edge of our seats now wondering how this impacts your predictions.

Fleck, Vincelot and Reda the best today for me. The defence as a whole was a solid unit and Burton were limited to sporadic periods of pressure.

Scratch that - they are digging up the main road into town and there's gridlock. I'll have to buy Sky Sports :(

Looking on the bright side, he's also out of the shop window until the New Year and may mean we get to keep him for the second half of the season.

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

You asked where it said it, so I quoted it for you. Do you imagine Leeds said that only Coventry must pay out his contract? Of course Swindon did.

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

No fee has been paid to Leeds, hence he joined on a free. A sweetener was paid to the player so he agreed to leave Leeds.

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

"Leeds had wanted the club to cover the cost of paying up his two-year contract, where he’s understood to be earning three to four times more than the average City player, with the player looking for a decent settlement on the remainder of his deal."

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

It's because Swindon agreed to pay out his contract at Leeds, which was about four times the salaries we pay. I'm more confused by how Swindon can afford it; it seems obvious why we passed.

    Nicky Ajose?

How can Swindon afford this, as their attendances are lower than ours.
