Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

They've already agreed to sell to Wasps.

Bid Tabled for Ricoh from CCFC

If I were SISU I would neglect to mention the bid being conditional on the basis that the other interested parties will reject it regardless.

Tim Fisher reveals details of Ricoh bid

Why can't they part own half of ACL and continue to build their own stadium? Owning half of ACL isn't a lifetime commitment. Ask CCC.

Using your logic: Why would you be upset if AEHT or CCC 'lost out' in a deal to SISU?

I can't be bothered going over the same things time and time again. It's nothing to do with negotiation.

    Councils new tourist attracting campaign.....

Do you remember the plans for the old fish market? The ones for the old Smithfield Arms? How about the Belgrade Plaza development being finished? What about the Post Sorting Office plans? What happened?

It does when SISU not paying it is "getting it on the cheap / ripping off a children's charity". The same rules don't apply to out of town rugby teams.

Fair play Simon and fair play to the chaps at the Council for the nomination.

    Councils new tourist attracting campaign.....

Not one has been confirmed. Not one. No names. Just a suggestion of a few chains. Big Deal.

Negotiating is having a discussion with a view to reaching an agreement. They revised the offer presumably to illicit agreement (but then again maybe not). Clearly, £5.5m over stated the value of 50% share. Otherwise why is the Wasps agreement for half of that amount.

In hindsight. Were they right not to agree to pay 5.5m following due diligence? (Not that it ultimately matters as the bank loan business killed the deal off anyway)

You've just repeated what I said but with further detail. The heads of terms was merely how the deal would be made (SISU to buy out the loan > purchase Higgs share). It wasn't an explicit figure as that agreement is between Higgs and SISU. The HoT included the Council. You're so obtuse...

They offered £5.5m in June 2012 but later revised it to around £2m. Read the court transcripts, dear.

It's difficult to answer. In the short term, no. Longer term, maybe. I don't believe that CCC ever wanted to do a deal with SISU. This is based on comments from a councillor (and not one who has been mentioned in the press). You could almost say the breaking of the lease on itself is a moot point.

Are any of the others, Wasps aside, leasing the stadium. Would you like CCFC to be paying £1.3m to Wasps every year?

Fella on my street's lad was approached even younger than that. He's with Everton! Madness. No wonder footballers are so out of touch. Let them grow up and love the game first.
