Joe Elliot: Even He Likes Wasps

Don't worry. The way SISU are turning fans off CCFC it probably will be soon.

Joe Elliot: Even He Likes Wasps

So they have to have supported Wasps all their life to be allowed to attend without abuse. Is that the law? I don't know where that leaves me. I wasn't even a football fan until I went to my first Cov game with mates at the age of 21, 21 years ago so I've only been a Coventry fan half my life...

Joe Elliot: Even He Likes Wasps

I think he's talking about the same principle. Believing it was OK going to Sixfields while slating anyone who goes to a Wasps game when they probably just want to go and watch the team they support.

    Election 2015

My wife's late grandfather once told me that in his many years of experience he's came to the conclusion that politics has been a constant cycle during his life of labour giving the public some good times but always cocking it up and leaving the country in a far worse place than they found it...

    £1.2m?

I'm sure no one would be surprised if it turned out to be true. Doesn't mean it is thought.

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

I thought someone had said previously that if things go tits up the lease reverts back to CCC as the freeholder.

Changes to the Ricoh next season - Waggott

I would think people are not staying away because of what TF said, it's more likely because of what he did. I haven't heard anyone personally say that they aren't going because of what TF said. Although if you're really that sensitive you're spoilt for choice on TF comments.

Changes to the Ricoh next season - Waggott

Have to say agree with all of that but the overriding factor in enjoying the JPT games was the performances and results.

Changes to the Ricoh next season - Waggott

Not sure what to make of these proposals. On one hand I can see it makes sense based on our current gate numbers. But on the other hand it's clearly a cheaper option than investing in a team that will excite the fan base into returning so you dont have to close stands etc. to try and create an...

Joe Elliot: Even He Likes Wasps

Same here. Been to many a Forest game over the years with a mate who's a forest fan and he's also been with me to watch Cov games including 2 this season. Not forgetting Rugby fans have a completely different mentality to football fans. I have a mate who is a big Tigers fan but cant get a ticket...

    Reality meeting

Something like Michael Caine's closing lines in the Italian job. The song is quite apt for SISU as well.

    Cp-artha risk advisory ltd

In which case I couldn't give a flying one.

    Cp-artha risk advisory ltd

Sounds like he needs to speak to someone with experience in risk management :thinking about:

    Cp-artha risk advisory ltd

Are they a director of CCFC?

    rushden and diamonds

Did SISU deliberately lose the JR?

    rushden and diamonds

That was the offer through PA wasn't it while the club was still in administration. I'm talking about the offer that came later through the FL.
  17. skybluetony176

    rushden and diamonds

I thought they initially denied it and when the FL admitted it we had the old pantomime routine of Oh that one, yeah but no but etc. So much has (or hasn't depending on how you look at it) happened who can remember all the details.

    rushden and diamonds

I think they're talking about the offer made through the FL by ACL. The one TF and Co tried to deny after the story was broke by David Conn IIRC only for the FL to confirm such an offer had been made through them to the CET tea boy IIRC. I think that's the one anyway.

    rushden and diamonds

Because they have idiots running the club.

    rushden and diamonds

I would think not being able to achieve being cash flow positive at Sixfields was a strong case for SISU.
