    Good news for Cov?

all these developments seem to have plenty of hub but not much pub! They need more community focal points. There's some really nice properties in the canal basin development but there's nothing round to do round there.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I think putting an arbitrary number on cases is a lot more sensible than setting an arbitrary date but you're probably right about it being too low. Especially given the early data on the effects of the vaccinated groups.

    Ref squares up to player

players constantly say 'it's okay for fans to have a go back but when we have a go back they don't like it'. Well surely the same logic applies to players and refs? They constantly moan and get in their face so fuck 'em. Not like Drysdale properly stuck the nut on him.

    Ravel Morrison ?

remember listening to a podcast with Keiron Dyer who went to West Ham at the same age Morrison is now. Said he actually took it serious at West Ham and sorted out his lifestyle but it was too late and he didn't succeed there because he couldn't undo all the years of neglecting his body. To be...

    Good news for Cov?

as last garrison said it's typical unfortunately. I have no interest in cars whatsoever but I love the fact we get these big motoring events when they close the ring road, people come from all over and it gives the city a massive boost. The failure of some people to see the bigger picture is...

    Good news for Cov?

I went past there just before Christmas for the first time in ages and there's already loads of work going on and I'm sure there's a building with Giga factory signage on. They've also put an island which will allow cars to take a new slip road down to where they're developing.

    Good news for Cov?

here's a link with some info about it: https://news.coventrysociety.org.uk/2020/06/29/long-awaited-city-centre-south-proposals-arrive/ they're putting a big building in the middle called the pavilion, I think what you were suggesting was to keep it open, looking at the plan I think I would...

    Good news for Cov?

I don't think that's too far away from what they've actually got planned. Think there are some new buildings going in though rather than being totally open.

to be honest I'm concentrating on everyone from Forest down, so hoping Millwall beat Blues tomorrow. If anyone does get dragged in then great but I'm looking on it as a mini league of 9.

    Tonights games

I'm hoping that changes with Walker back. There definitely seemed more intent when he came on Saturday. Midfielders seemed quicker to push up and support him because the ball was actually sticking and we actually worked ourselves decent situations down their flanks on a couple of occasions...
