Sounds like you're edging your bets there. You're saying on one hand SISU should win but on the other hand that they wont win. I guess in your head that means you're right regardless of what happens at the appeal. No wonder you think you're always right.

Isn't the appeal a counter argument against the original ruling?

The first judge said no JR, That was appealed and a judge said JR, The JR happened and a judge spent 3days being presented evidence, hearing arguments and counter arguments then after a long period of time presented his judgement in favour of the council and ruled no right to appeal. Another...

I honestly don't know. I haven't read everything on it yet. But equally it doesn't mean he got it wrong. It could be that this judge has got it wrong. I would think that if there was the doubt you're trying to portray the original JR would have been called a mis-trial and the JR would have been...

No. They said SISU did have grounds for appeal. He could have given them that right himself in the JR but chose not to. If he did does that mean he was disagreeing with himself? No one has said he got it wrong have they, just SISU have the oppurtunity to prove he did. If he did.

In what sense? They think that SISU have a case for appeal. They havent ruled on that appeal. The appeal might give exactly the same result.

If SISU lose are we alowed to quote him again as a bastion of truth? Out of interest what do you think lied about?

Hope you're happy, Torchy, Grenduffy, etc

I'm not failing to mention anything. Just pointing out when the people you're claiming forced you out have tried to communicate with you and you've given them the cold shoulder it's hard to claim you were forced out when they're quite clearly trying to entice you back.

    Coventry City Ladies.

It is in my household. Ironically my youngest daughter who is already showing an interest in football and has been to a CCFC game asked if we could go to watch CCFCL only the day before this story broke. My eldest daughter is now also showing an interest wanted to jump on the band wagon and...

Hope you're happy, Torchy, Grenduffy, etc

Its a matter of fact that ACL made 2 offers for the club to return to the Ricoh before the club finally came to the negotiation table, one through the administrator and one through the FL. At no time did SISU counter these offers or use these offers as an oppertunity to negotiate. They even...

If SISU win and assuming CCC don't successfully appeal then offcourse the council have done something wrong. All I was pointing out is that the comment you have highlighted from the CET doesn't actually say that CCC are not the "baddies" as you are suggesting it does by what you say the comment...

The Taxpayer loosing out is a distinct possibility. I doubt that will be enough to build a stadium. Might be that the settlement if SISU win is payed in land rather than cash but I can't see SISU going for that. Most likely outcome if SISU win is that any damages awarded to the club (I'm...

Probably because the appeal hasn't been heard yet and the council may not be baddies as you put it. The comment is only asking the question. Is no one allowed to ask that question. There's no suggestion in that comment that either side are baddies.

Sometimes I think you and me are the only sensible ones on here Northern ;)

They didn't dismiss anything. That could only happen at the appeal. If he had have given them right to appeal in the first place would he have been dismissing his own judgement as unsafe? Will I still be allowed to quote him if SISU lose again? You seem to have all your eggs in one basket here.

Yes sorry. Just reread your post. I thought you were saying that the judges said judge Higginbottom had got it wrong. My bad.
