    Rumour has it

He's not in their first 11, think he's just a squad player there. Another player who went to find greener grass yet didn't.

    10 best takeaways in Coventry

That cafe on New Union St (in the old Job Centre) was in the top 3 places on TA. Closer inspection showed that the owners had clearly been writing favorable reports. They read like a piece of marketing literature and were all written in the same style.

    Aaron Phillips

Oh yes, somebody must be really in the know to come up with that. Not like such a story could be assumed from little bits of information.

Tim Fisher spotted at the match

Get a life, who gives a fuck if he was there or not.

Burge 5 Ricketts 6 Johnson 5 (far too much over commitment which better opposition would punish) Martin 7 Stokes 7 JOB 7 Vincelot 7 Fleck 8 (behind all our best moves yet nearly blotted his copybook at the end) Tudgay 8 (MoM but should have blasted the chance he had) Lameiras 6...

    Todays games

Saw Hargreaves play live for United at Man City in 2007. He absolutely bossed the midfield. Such a shame that he had such injury problems.

    Todays games

Hargreaves was a very good player. Trevor Sinclair also did well for England, no worse than many 'greats'.

    Mowbray says... / Marc-Antoine Fortune

It's not just about getting goals it's about helping others to get them. Another striker to occupy will help no end. Best wishes to Fortune.

I agree with you agreeing that it will either work or it won't.

    Refugees welcome?

Hardly a clamour to sort out the chronic homelessness in major cities from those who have jumped on this latest bandwagon. FWIW Britain should take our fair share of refugees. That is those fleeing Syria due to threat to life.

I fancy us to win this one. Tudgay and Lameiras.

Yes but born in French Guiana. Moved to England as a 5 year old.

    Mowbray says... / Marc-Antoine Fortune

Here we go for some tenuous links: We previously had another former West Brom striker from French Guiana. He did alright without having a brilliant strike rate for us.

It's interesting reading the comparative reactions of Cov and Southend fans to Monday's result. Southend seem to think they've got their outstanding gk to thank for the result. Cov fans seem to think we didn't create anything.

S You hate a knee jerk whine. I remember you writing the season off in the Nuneaton match thread. Calm down, dear.

    Coleman

Second season he spent his money. Eastwood, Bell, Gunnarsson, Morrison, Wood, Westwood, Stephen Wright etc. He had to curtail the spending the following year. Wasn't much difference in any of the 3 seasons, no real progress.

    Coleman

I can't stand that c**t. Don't blame SISU for pulling the plug on him. If only they'd got rid of that crank Ranson and Coleman earlier.

Is the Premier League Out of reach

Isn't that a bad of a poor reflection on football. The fact that the main driver for teams reaching the PL isn't described in prestige terms but always in economic ones. SISU are a symptom of this problem.
