In his first season we ended up lower than we were when he took over. He's just a mediocre manager

    Armstrong's Future

Yes, and then somehow we'd gone before the Fleetwood win to being a team who relied too heavily on him. Yet another good week in the Sky Blue Bipolar foundation.

    Blackpool (Home) Match Thread

On what evidence? Our gates in the PL at their height were 19k home fans at best. 12k or above is decent enough. 15k would be excellent.

It was Andy Mutch.... I'll always remember that game, the East Stand was under construction and as City were in good form (away wins on Boxing Day and New Years Day at Wimbledon and Spurs) there was the usual festive rush for tickets. I didn't get in to the match until a good 20 minutes in...

West Midlands super council deal could be put at risk by Birmingham's poor leadership

Seriously Jack? Digby Jones would be dreadful, cares about Birmingham, couldn't give a monkey's fart about the rest of us. Then again, it would be funny to see the interaction between Ann Lucas et al and the mayor, not exactly on the same sheet politically.

West Midlands super council deal could be put at risk by Birmingham's poor leadership

Politically yes, economically no. People travel from Warwickshire into Coventry and vice versa, we've more in common in an economic sense. We don't even have a border with the West Midlands, do we?

    Tory Monopoly

Good. There should be measures in place to ensure that houses are homes and not investment vehicles. I couldn't give two hoots about people with their 'property portfolios' - they're relying on low interest rates which are to the detriment of savers.

Refute some of the things he's posted then, with evidence.

    Chris Eagles?

In fairness the horrors of Neil Wood and Connor Brown remind me of where we've had our fingers burnt in that regard!

5 reasons to go to Blackpool match

Our record against them is dire. The season we got relegated from the championship we drew at home (after conceding a late equaliser having just gone ahead) and lost away (after conceding twice in the last two minutes). We got beat 4-0 there once as well when I think Kevin Kyle got sent off

Yes, we were in that bit just before Christmas when we played there 2 years ago. It pissed down all day.

West Midlands super council deal could be put at risk by Birmingham's poor leadership

I hope these complete and utter disgraces to local government are defeated at the JR and, more importantly, hammered at the ballot box. To be followed by the removal of their stooge executive team.

    Away Followings So Far

They've built a new stand which should help a bit. The biting Pennine wind hasn't kicked in this year....yet. It'll probably hit by the time we play at Rochdale next week.

Not sure that the Sixfields move has had that big an impact. The current average exceeds the pre Sixfields L1 average or at least equals.

RCC - 7 - He's less rigid than Burge and appears to anticipate things a bit better, good to have two options Ricketts 7 - Solid, gets forward reasonably well too for a man of his age Martin 7 - Very assured again, has stopped giving the ball away and makes challenges when he should Johnson 7...
