Agreed. All football authorities are driven by corporate commercial interests. The FA sold the English game out over 20 years ago. UEFA ruined European competition at the same time.
You're talking rubbish. The league games in 2001/02 were ALL televised (ITV Sport).
The game away at Birmingham when we won 1-0 a few years back was too as was the home league cup win in 2012.

Aside from the state aid issue, it's an issue of a council appropriately managing public assets and achieving best value for the taxpayer. It looks like they have failed on both counts to me.
