Is the Premier League Out of reach

And now they've got it all back again with interest. Not the point I know but they've clearly gambled a lot less than other teams but most importantly they had the right men steering the ship both on the green stuff and behind the scenes. We have TM so we're half way there.

Is the Premier League Out of reach

Now now be fair. He has found the phone number for a council now. Yes 118 would have been cheaper and quicker but lets not make out that he isn't making progress ;)

Is the Premier League Out of reach

We probably wouldn't. Both rent and wages are now under control unlike previously.

Is the Premier League Out of reach

I don't think Bournemouth had "hundreds of millions to lose" either.

Is the Premier League Out of reach

I'd take it but if we came straight back down I wouldn't be that bothered. Assuming that we haven't gambled everything to get there and need at least X amount of seasons in it to avoid going tits up, again.

JPT - Only Swindon to be concerned about?

I think we made over 6000 for both home draws last season at £5 a shot. Tin pot or not I'd love us to get to final.

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

Isn't it a song by 5 Star? I've just always assumed that they were torches favorite band ;)

    Lateef signs

Could be right with the Stokes camparison. Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting were out of cash, rather just a case of TM only having enough free cash to offer a 4 month contract at this point as other cash is ear marked for wages on loan deals. I do expect more signings to come in.

    Lateef signs

On the 4 month contract point is it posible that TM didn't have enough left in the kitty to sign him any longer at this point and is hoping that the kitty get's a boost ahead of the January window at which point he will get a longer contract? Either that or he's just cover for Maddison.

    Lee Burge

You were replying specificaly to me pointing out what Ricketts has said about the goal and said he was defending "The Muppet in Goal" when in actual fact you agree with what Ricketts said and accept that the goal was indeed a defensive error, yourself actually picking out Reda as blame...

    Lee Burge

So Ricketts must have been protecting Reda then not the "Muppet in goal" then in your opinion? Strange you picked up on it then and made out he only said it to not name Burge when in reality you agree with Ricketts that it was a defending error not a goalie error. Make your mind up.

    Lee Burge

I don't think he was even prompted to say anything. If he didn't want to name names he could have simply said he hadn't seen it back on replay and dodge the question, he didn't. You clearly want to believe it was Burge's mistake wether it was or not. You're obviously just the sort of fan who...

    Lee Burge

By the same token when the back four don't clear the line quick enough to give the goalie the room to do his job it can't be doing much to stop the goalie getting jittery either. Clearly the back four and Burge need to gel and understand what's needed when the ball is in the danger zone. No two...

    Lee Burge

Ricketts was quick to take the blame on behalf of the defense for the goal on CWR after the game. Don't remember his exact words but it was something along the lines of they didn't come of the line quick enough so didn't leave the room for Burge to come and take the ball.

    Good luck to him.

I'll keep an opened mind on this one.

    Away Fans

Talking of the Southend Fans I thought they did themselves proud last night. Not just in terms of noise made but also numbers. I really wasn't expecting that.

How much does it cost to rent a train or two?

Yep. Forgot about that. That's part of the project too as you say. Not sure if that's phase one or two. Either way it's still to be done. I don't recall reading anywhere what the specific schedule is for that but if the rest of the project is anything to go by it's probably behind schedule.

How much does it cost to rent a train or two?

There's an article in the CT from 2013 I think, which has it down to delays in funding IIRC. This caused the project to be split into 2 phases as I understand it. The platform at the Ricoh being part of phase one along with Beduff platform extension and the new Bermuda Park station. All of which...

How much does it cost to rent a train or two?

Sounds like you already knew the answer to your question. No ideas on the pros and cons of joining the West Midlands Combined Authority. You?
