Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Thats going to happen wherever they are thiugh. Every kid brings £500+ of electronics with them these days. Im actually a fan of uniform generally but the new “buy this specific overpriced thing from one specific store” can get bent. I’ve said before but my ideal system would have three...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It’s nonsense though isn’t it. Every uniformed school I’ve been at every kid knew who the rich and poor kids were and were never short of things to bully each other about.

Start with land and stocks, work from there.

The right tax is almost always a wealth tax. Especially for a service that’s for the elderly. They’ll never tax wealth.

The phrase MSM. And not because it’s used by eejits, but because mainstream is one word. It should be MM, and I swear the only reason it’s not is because then people would think the crazies are ranting against chocolate snacks and ageing white rappers.

Tories gonna Tory. I don’t know why people buy their nonsense about no tax rises every time. It’s in their nature to hit the working peoples on income so they can stay away from their donors’ wealth.

Interesting take on the French vaccine passport scheme. Seems to have done the trick for a traditionally vaccine skeptic nation. https://www.politico.eu/article/macron-france-covid-immunity-passport-vaccine-pass/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

If there was something then fine, but the Enemy can fuck off and most of the Specials while great tracks aren’t exactly pump up a crowd music. My favourite is still Mr Blue Sky but that’s probably just because I’ve made that association in my head. The classic Eton boating song is a fucking...

That’s their song though like the sky blue song is ours. I don’t see why music that pumps the crowd up a bit is seen as specifically American TBH. But come on, half the Cov based suggestions aren’t either singalong like YNWA or pump up. I like enjoy yourself for after a win and am all for Cov...

I don’t. I’ve seen lots of info graphics and comparisons with unvaccinated but not sure where easy to read straight numbers are. I get it’s not straightforward to calculate but still feels like the data needed to make informed decisions isn’t abundant.

Just looked this up and this is me publicly debating with myself as much as anything not arguing with you, but 14 deaths from 9 million vaccines. Which is around 0.00015% Of course myocarditis isn’t nothing but then I’d guess you have to compared to long COVID and ICU stays etc from COVID...

I get it. I haven’t looked at the data enough to decide myself yet TBH. It’s more the vaccine passport/freedom thing I think we disagree on.

I agree and hope that of the evidence shows the risk isn’t worth it that’ll be government advice too. Like it was with AZ.

Both choices present very small risks. I get where you’re coming from because psychologically doing nothing doesn’t feel like an action but doing something does but this isn’t a risk vs no risk situation, it’s risk vs risk with a minuscule edge one way assuming your kid has no underlying conditions.

That’s a business decision for CCFC to make I’d hope. The proposals I’ve seen are only PL games and over 20k so for the vast majority of City games wouldn’t be mandatory. But if they are they are. And I hope people who are refusing to get the vaccine because they read some nonsense on Facebook...
