It sounds like the sort of throw away crap you'd get from a John Mutton. I have no idea why he would say that. The whole statement is patronising in the extreme from a 'PR expert'.

Have you got the stats for the average age of rugby union fans yet?

Do you believe any of that twaddle? Robbie Keane bought with debt, sold to pay off debt. No net gain to the club as they paid his wages for a year. Who knows what returns the football investors who paid for him wanted? Perhaps they got all £13m?

They've somehow found the trains they categorically stated were not available. The glorious privatised rail industry comes up trumps again. It isn't about public service.

forgive me father for i have sinned

What's the average admission price for rugby union, and what is the average age of the paying fan of that sport?

I agree with you completely, in fact I'd go further to say that the stance should have been the only stance. Yes, we enjoyed signing Robbie Keane etc, but the ultimate cost has been massive. If we'd got to the position of owning a new 30k stadium and being solvent, we really could've moved up a...

Do JSBs still do 'Saturday Club'? In the 90s when it first began, you could attend Saturday Club at Sydney Stringer or Ullathorne, play football from 9.30 til 1pm-ish and with a bus ride and ticket into the ground. It cost about £7.50 all in per child I think.

forgive me father for i have sinned

Funny how football managed to attract fans of all ages for years without this extra entertainment. Would rather the investment was made on the pitch. It's turd polishing for rugby which is a dreadful game to watch and a team that people have limited affinity with.

Playing Leeds or Forest would be an improvement on 4 years in League 1. You don't go to matches mind so the never ending tv coverage of the PL would suit you. The whole 'brand' is designed with armchair and overseas 'customers' in mind.

I couldn't give two hoots about playing in the Premier League, I realise I am probably in a minority but I see the PL as all that is wrong with football.

Running the club properly means spending money they haven't got on players they can't afford. Remember at this time the club was loss making you thick c**t.
