    Next Season

What's the issue? I don't think, after the recent collapse, I'm that bothered about the fact the squad will be rebuilt in summer.

short term thinking expecting long term results

They signed two players on long term deals last week. If the players who are out of contract don't want to play for the club between now and the end of the season, they ARE NOT the players we want here. They are not the players to take us forward and rightly should not be offered new terms.

short term thinking expecting long term results

Tony, it's the short term results that are a problem. I don't believe that any of those factors are really the reason. I think it's basically the case that a lot of the players were playing above themselves for a while, especially Fleck and Vincelot.

    Mowbray needs to go

Drivel. As is your forte. He's made some poor signings like every manager ever, had some bad fortune with injuries. Signs some cracking loan players but despite poor form probably has to play them under the terms of their loan. His love affair with Fortune will hopefully end this summer.

    Fleck leaving

Not that the player might feel he wants to move on? No? The power sits firmly with players now, makes more sense for them to move around without fees, it means they pick up a larger signing on fee in lieu of a transfer fee.

Yeah, qualified for Europe in that period and won a cup. Did nothing.

Mirror Article - Most misery since 1992

Yes, but 34 consecutive seasons in the top flight in itself was better than all but 3 clubs. I am not saying it's any good to be a Cov fan, it isn't. The last 15 years have been far worse than the previous 35.

The season isn't anywhere near over. Talk about the losing mentality.

He needs to be given at least 2 full seasons. He shouldn't be sacked, I really do not understand the logic of sacking him.
