    West Ham rent...discuss...

After spending £540m on it originally, the government is spending a further £160m to ensure a super rich Premier League football club can pay there. Terrific value for money. It will be used for athletics in July each year, what a terrific olympic legacy.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

The reason there is no rival is because there is no real appetite from Rugby League in this part of the world.

    WASPS Interim Accounts

I think I read elsewhere that certain concert promoters effectively rent the stadium for the day and sell their own food and beverage. The landlord gets a flat fee. Not sure if that is the case with anything going on at the Ricoh, though the previous concerts didn't appear to be that lucrative.

    WASPS Interim Accounts

JS' desire for an 'unencumbered freehold' doesn't look that bad in this light. The ACL debt problems are all of the council's making. The original £21m loan, the refinance of £14.4m and now the hasty repayment by Wasps of that £14m (debt to pay debt, at a worse interest rate) perhaps to close...

Coventry City staring into Football Abyss

Good analysis osb. The only things fans can do is try and get behind the team, support them when you can and hope that the revenue generated can do enough to improve the team to get out of this division. Ignore what the club's owners are doing, the principle of a self sustaining club is...

Coventry City staring into Football Abyss

We're no more staring into the abyss than we have been for 15 years.

The 3 teams coming down from the Championship

Cos they're in league 2 at the minute obviously! They do have much better support than CCFC mind you. None of this self indulgent crap that those who don't attend matches come out with.

Royton is nearer the ground, Rifle Range is in Chadderton mind and is OK.

    Millwall next week

Yes, they're all coming by coincidence, it's their annual 'flag day'. They've had the added bonus of cheap tickets from Euston to Cov, £20 return or less I believe.

    Aaron Martin

Most improved player this season by a stretch. There were some scousers behind me at the match on Saturday and they singled out what a good player he is, reads the game very well and now makes the right decisions, just need a beast to partner him next season.

Our Best Side In League One

Pennington! I'd argue that Martin's form this season has been far better than Pennington was. I'd possibly have Adams as left back ahead of Stokes, he offered us more going forwards. McGoldrick ahead of Armstrong alongside Wilson up front, difficult not to pick Clarke mind as he was excellent too.

    Judgement of signings

Fergie's record in his last 10 years was as many duffers as gems. No offence, duffer if you're reading this.
