Joe Cole & Bigi in talks about perm deals

Depends on your diet. Mines currently black as I was on a Guinness and meat diet yesterday. I know, TMI.

Joe Cole & Bigi in talks about perm deals

Couldn't tell you. Still a good idea and possibly an astute move by TM as it could help get the best out of Madders while we have him meaning not only could it improve our promotion chances it would also help push his value up.

Joe Cole & Bigi in talks about perm deals

At this moment in time I don't disagree but if he can stay injury free and get fully match fit hopefully that will change.

Joe Cole & Bigi in talks about perm deals

He'll be good for Madders. Same as Gary Mac was good for Gerrard when he left us for Liverpool. It's not uncommon to see in football, an older more experienced player mentoring a younger inexperienced player while still being a squad member themselves.

Joe Cole & Bigi in talks about perm deals

He's an attacking midfielder. Fancy you not knowing that. He'll give us options to as he can play pretty much anywhere such as on the left wing which more often than not was were he ended up in an England shirt. I suspect the main reason he'll be here is to train and compete with Madders...

Joe Cole & Bigi in talks about perm deals

Wasn't he has injured for the best part of 2 weeks during his time with us? If so he hasn't had 8 straight weeks of training. If, if he can stay injury free from here on I suspect that come Easter rather than "costing" us promotion (it's all on his shoulders apparently and their was me...

    Armstrong here for the season

Great news. Shame about the 24hr recall so let's hope that they sign Charley Adams and/or keep all their forwards fit.

    Happy new year everyone.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Really? One stand behind a goal and a few rows for segregation are more than a third of the stadiums capacity? That can't be right.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Must be taking the closed stand and segregation into consideration.

    Beckham

David Beckham is obviously a decent bloke. He's put his fame to good use and deserves all the praise he gets. England have been shit to mediocre since him and Gary Neville retired from international football. He is the last superstar to pull on an England top and since then the team has just...

    Will SISU gamble?

What's any of that got to do with SISU? Nothing Wasps do will effect the club for at least two more seasons now and effect SISU even less.

    Will SISU gamble?

I have a feeling TM may get an advance based on predicted attendances for the rest of the season. Nothing major, enough for some extra wages and maybe a small transfer fee.

    Favourite Moment of 2015

Beating Crewe. It really felt like we'd got a monkey of our backs and filled me with hope for the season ahead. I still clearly remember leaving the Ricoh with a huge grin on my face. Beaming from ear to ear is an understatement.

    Coventry city fans

Nah, we can do better than a knife. Let's push the boundaries here folks. What if he had some Hattori Hanzo steel and cut off the top of the goalie's head like it was a boiled egg?

    RIP John Bradbury

    Bad day for music. RIP.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

You're using an out of date business model for the Ricoh and a generalisation of how other clubs do it because of the lack of an actual business plan to form your arguments and opinion. If that's not throwing caution to the wind I don't know what is.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Yes. So like I said, they're generalising. They have nothing specific to compare our CURRENT arrangement at the Ricoh to. It's all supposition.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

You mean our previous championship seasons where we had an unaffordable rent deal and an even more unaffordable wage bill? How is that comparable when it in no way reflects our current situation?

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Don't disagree with that. Three years should be more than long enough to do that. A few choice sound bites such as propco opco don't actually tell you anything.
