    Mean while back in court

A veto that was never tested. Try remembering that to. Then ask why. The answer of course was because the true value was not a figure on a balance sheet. Which brings me back to my original point. The one you missed and demonstrated why perfectly by spouting nonsense and bile.

    Mean while back in court

I doubt that the wasps takeover of ACL would have happened had we purchased the Higgs share if for no other reason than they wouldn't have wanted to get into bed with SISU. By the same token it would have put the council in bed with SISU and a situation that they would have been keen to get out...

    Mean while back in court

They didn't value it at that though. What was it Laura Deering stood up in court and said. Something along the lines of it was worthless but Joy Seppala recognised Higgs was a charity. Obviously SISU used your valuation too.

    Rose and Vincelot

If these two can gel quickly in midfield it could turn our fortunes around and get us back to winning ways. I think they will give us a physicality and determination that could tear through midfields and run fear into defences. Can't wait to see them play together myself.

And if that happens Mowbray out.

    Port Vale (Away) Match Thread

Good result all things considered. A cheeky 3points wouldn't have gone a miss though. Sounds like RCC played a blinder and made sure we got something out of it.

    And is that wrong?

How do you work that out?

    I'm starting to believe ......

    Fair play to you Hackney

    Mean while back in court

Ha ha. When are you going to start pointing that same stick at SISU.

    What's the thread about?

    Mean while back in court

If the council were found to have done no wrong in taking over the loan and it served in the best interests of the taxpayer doesn't that mean that they have set the example against a "shady hedge fund" (your words)?

    Mean while back in court

It hasn't brought out all the truths though and never will as only one parties specific action is being judged here. You should probably try being mindful of that when judging all parties. One party is never going to be held to account in open court. SISU's meetings, memo's and what was said...

    Mean while back in court

Done no wrong in taking over the ACL loan. Unless you think they're in court for more than that?
  15. skybluetony176

    Mean while back in court

Yes. You're right there. What it will do though or should do is define cause and effect. Both parties have made horrendously bad decisions in this whole saga but ultimately one party is going to carry the majority of the blame when all this is over.

    Mean while back in court

Someone has made out on this very thread that SISU wouldn't win because they've been complicit in putting CCC in the position when they decided to take over the loan. Which is of course bollocks. If it's illegal state aid it's illegal state aid and will be found to be illegal state aid. The...

    Mean while back in court

So SISU wouldn't be in the driving seat then. So when you told a poster who said they were spot on for saying so adding that there wouldn't be much support for selling to wasps you were talking bollocks. The administrator as you now say only job is to achieve the best price and considering JS's...

    Mean while back in court

I think you're making the mistake that the administrator/liquidator would be there to serve CCFC. They're there to serve the creditors and them alone. If Wasps were waiting in the wings as suggested they would have been ready with a deal surely? You've fooled yourself into believing that SISU...

    Mean while back in court

In the same way that if CCC lose and have to shell out a load of the local taxpayer's money (although that looks unlikely that it's going to cost the local taxpayer now) it would be CCC's fault for their actions and not SISU's fault for taking them to court. If SISU do get screwed they've...

    Mean while back in court

It's a real shame for the charity on many levels. I don't doubt that they got involved with the very best of intentions and didn't deserve to lose a penny. But the biggest shame is that a bond between the club and the Higgs family going back generations that only ever tried to serve the club has...
