    The Media Nowadays

The Telegraph barely sell any papers, so it isn't about news or journalism. It's about getting as many people to click on or share stories via social media as possible. It's about paying somebody acting as a journalist as little as possible, they are a desk-bound journalist so the internet...

    Classic Car for sale

Often seen cruising around Binley Woods with a certain Mrs Bucket on board. 6 left, it's mad really. I passed an Austin Montego on the M1 on Saturday, in mint condition it was.

    SISU OUT March

Say NOPM achieves its stated aim,; at the end of the 2016/17 season SISU pull the plug and wind the club (Otium) up and ARVO or whoever takes possession of Ryton. All gate monies have been received at that point. The existing £100k p/a deal at the Ricoh is cancelled as Otium has been wound up...

    SISU OUT March

They're the club's main creditor. What do you think would happen with the club's assets?

    Jim O'Brien

Come off it. I would run through walls to play for City but it doesn't mean I should get a game. It's a professional sport.

    League Cup Draw

It's only one round. It is hardly wealth redistribution if the draw means many lower league teams may be out after the 2ND round. Nice smart comment though.

    Season tickets?

What does it really matter? The only thing that matters is that you got it before the first match.

    Short Notice Holidays in UK

Like somebody has said, what about Liverpool? You've got the centre which is probably one of the UK's most interesting cities, but also you've got the Lancs coast (funfair at Southport too) and the Wirral coast nearby. Knowsley Safari Park on the way home or Chester Zoo.

    Hypothetical i know -

The reality is that most of them wouldn't bother. They don't bother now because they think the 3rd tier is beneath them.

    Quick Ticket Question

They've not improved the service, merely outsourced the blame. It's poor and needs addressing.

    Quick Ticket Question

I agree with EastLancs (the tight bastard). It is the principle of suddenly paying an admin fee for something that was managed without one for many years. I know it isn't the club who are charging the fee, but the club should be taking into account how its customers might react. It's an...

Match Thread Coventry v Shrewsbury Match Thread - Saturday 13th Aug

Your spot on, the match day attendances will suffer as there has been no real gain in season ticket sales.

    League Cup Draw

I don't want Chelsea. I still don't see them as a big club and we've played them more than once since Prem relegation, been dreadful both times.

    Has the food gone up?

Sorry I've just realised it is Gold they sell not Mad Goose. Gold ain't a bad sup either, eons ahead of the piss they sell at the other bars in the ground. In fact it's better beer than all of the pubs around the Ricoh too bar possibly the Greyhound if you can call that near.

    Transfer news today

Good and bad news about signing internationals, good that you've got players of international calibre. Bad that with 1 or 2 you're unlikely to see your game cancelled in League 1 if they get called away on international duty, there are Prem clubs who have their games cancelled by mandate despite...
