    So are many of us!

You musn't have been at the match Saturday, Mascherano he was not! Nearly gave away a goal to Reid in the first half dithering on the ball - Reid really should have scored, then he and his other centre back were miles apart for the Agyei goal. Still, it's another negative story about CCFC from...

    The Premier League

No, I mean the general standard of it is dreadful. The english media talk about it as if it is the pinnacle of football, it isn't, it's a silly game of Monopoly masquerading as a football tournament.

All Quiet on the Transfer Front

I disagree on the Aarons, I don't think Phillips would be even in the side ahead of DKE. Nor do I really believe that Martin would be ahead of Ricketts. Ricketts gets lots of unfair critcism but he has coached the younger players next to him through the games. I do agree that we're missing...

There is a cracking owl sanctuary nearby and of course Longstanton Spice Museum (as pictured in my avatar).

That wasn't a liquidation process as you know

    New Trust Statement

How many long established professional football clubs have been completely liquidated? It would be a disaster for their reputation (I'm not talking in the football world).

name 1 thing we have to be positive about

One good thing is that I am not surrounded by tedious self indulgent windbags like Sky Blue Kid, Garry Woollybrain and afan4life at the match due to their martyr complex

    Things that annoy you

I don't think climbing the walls is going to help sore feet mate. I'd suggest rest.

    Things that annoy you

Agree completely, tea brewed in a cup is an utter abomination.

    Stability

There isn't evidence that SISU want or expect that debt or figure to be repaid. There are reasons why it sits on the accounts which OSB has explained numerous times.

    New Trust Statement

Who is going to make such an offer and with what money?

Where has all the money gone???

Yes, people get budgets wrong all of the time, I can see how it might happen, particularly due to the variations in prices paid for tickets. We'll of course see when the accounts come out.

    Norwich

Norwich are a well managed club but your comments about their catchment area don't really take into account that there is only one league club within a 50 mile radius of them! CCFC on the other hand have 7 or 8, albeit in a more densely populated area. Norwich is a far more prosperous place...

Where has all the money gone???

Or typical politician speak preying on inbuilt prejudice.....

Where has all the money gone???

Yes, I agree. Then again, Seppala is only a shareholder, she isn't running the club. She's holding the purse strings, though.

    Andre Gray

Having a character reference from Joey Barton is like having a personality reference from Peter Sutcliffe
  17. fernandopartridge

Where has all the money gone???

The transfer fee might cover the shortfall but it's non-recurrent, so if the wage bill was busted, it will need to be reduced to the budgeted level for this season, which I suspect is what has happened.

    Next Sisu Out Protest?

OSB has already outlined CCFC's contribution to the Compass coffers, it isn't much in turnover and very very little in profit.
  19. fernandopartridge

Where has all the money gone???

The club has already let the cat out of the bag on this. They got their budget wrong at the start of the season, remember the mentions of needing an average gate of 14k? There was a shortfall against that. There were suggestions that SISU have had to cover additional costs last season. We have...

    Next Sisu Out Protest?

You're the one talking utter rubbish and you've been called out again. Councils use compulsory purchase powers, yes. I am not arguing that they don't. Why would they be willing to do so in this case, considering the actual situation in Coventry and the council's position.
