If he had the physique of an Adam Wharton, I think his technique and vision are exceptional, but hey ho...opinions. Few players are what (not sure what you mean)?? (able to play for a top end PL team?)

For me, it is his vision, coupled with his technique. Give him another player's body, and he'd be at a top end PL team.

Yeah. Will be interesting to see how he handles himself in the Championship. He will definitely try and play the hard man at The Trillion ( or whatever their ground is now called) Think he'll get an unhelpful reputation for himself from what I've seen of him this season ( he acted like a tawt...

It's the 'top 6 Championship' claim about their current squad that amuses me. Peterborough genuinely have some individuals with a lot more potential. That Stansfield is also a dislikeable little rag.

Posh 1-0 v Blues (looking much the better side)

Haha. Thought had crossed my mind.

Hull will have every right to be as nervous as we are, if not more so.

Even if we lost to Hull, but beat WBA - that's fine. Similarly a win versus Hull and a draw against the Baggies. Both permutations would keep us firmly in it. Let's beat Hull first. Monday night could be huge for us.

    Championship thread 24/25!

If we'd have played today (and lost) you still couldn't have asked for a much better set of results. Win on Monday (not easy, as Hull will be desperate) and I think we may only need to avoid defeat to Albion to be pretty confident about top 6.

A bit of that yes, but won't be having a 'pressured' homer effect on the ref, if the fans aren't arsed.

Even worse - Derby now drawing, so will be right up for it at home to Luton next. Real possibility they'll be relegated by the time we play them, which could be great for us (in terms of flat home atmosphere)

If Boro fall away, may make our final game of the season easier? ( in theory!)

Some of the Norwich team seem to be playing for Burnley. Awful passing!

Get in (shame that Jordan Clark can't follow him, too)

    Championship thread 24/25!

Both West Brom (Diakite and Bany) and Plymouth (Sorrinola and Katic) have lost key players to injury, who are likely to be unavailable to face us. Molumby also lost his appeal for his red card (glad the dirty git is out against us)

Match Thread Coventry City - Portsmouth FC Match Thread - Wednesday 9th Apr

If it makes the difference of finishing in the top 6, it will have paid his costs off, as the TV, gate receipts from 2 games (regardless of whether we win or not) should cover those costs. We really should sell out both of our remaining home games.

Maybe, but I have a very good mate (married a girl, who was like a sister to me - sadly passed) who follows Leicester everywhere with his son, and so my dislike for them as a club is only at 90% of what it should be. His sadly departed wife was a Cov fan, with a brick in her honour on the CBS...

I suspect you will next season. I am curious as to what you think of the season of joy, followed by a season of despair, as a lot of the fanbases of current Championship 'contenders' now seem accepting that if they go up, the following season will be a bruising experience, which they're not...
