Just a quick update, well the op went all fine and well although my back is still very sore. Having to take things very easy , no stretching, bending etc. The choice to have the op was the right one as you all alluded to. Have to say a great big thanks though to the staff and nurses at Derby...

Awful news, it makes you wonder if anywhere is safe. We take the grandson with us shopping or just a walk round a park , in this day and age i keep thinking is it wise to do so.

Im a bit more worried now pippers having seen the crowds at the beaches over here lol. Oh well we'll have a good old catch up when im better mate.

Many thanks to all who replied, i have a pre op assessment this coming Tuesday and then all being well it goes ahead on the 23rd july, alittle later than i would have liked but they assure me its all going to be fine. Once again thank you all and hopefully see you soon pippers , i'll dig out me...
