24th August - Hoffmans Backers meet the SISU Puppets

This date will be too late for any player changes to occur. However i still would like to see a take over happen! End of August is the closurer of the transfer window (usually) and things wont be finalised on this date so all we can hope for is loans!

    Jim Twynam

Was he back on the PA system today? Was like old HR days when you couldnt hear who the subs were, not because of the PA system, but because of the tone of his voice :) Welcome back Jim!

    Bad Times

That is true, but this was about 88 minutes into the game. Even if he did come upfront (where Wood had also moved to), could you really see us getting the ball upfield to them 2 and O'Donovan?? We rarely did it in the 88 minites past, never mind doind it after the change may have happened.

Birigamana did do well. Sometimes he pulls out of challenges too early though. Hopefully this was just him being cautious after seeing the result of the 2 challenges in the first half. Part of me thinks it was a good job Deegan was injured today. Wonder how long he'd have lasted in such a...

I presume your armchair comment was to the poster?? Did you really think McSheffrey and Bell were our best players (out of your list)?? Id be worried if those performances were considered good :s

Did anyone actually see it close up? From my view half way up CET stand it did look as though it could have been a dangerous challenge, helped out by the 4 rolls that Wellens completed before coming to a halt. But i did hear it wasnt as bad as that view made it! I think the ref felt like he had...

    Not so bad...there were highlights.

Haha! Anyone know where he ended up? Hopefully in the board room signing the contract. Hes the only type of player who'd play for peanuts (sorry, ill get my coat)

    Martyn Waghorn

Nout wrong with having ambition mate :) I did say a loan bid anyway, so is a bit different to the Le Fondre saga

    Not so bad...there were highlights.

Squirrel Regis (the guy in front of me made this gag, not me) was definately the highlight.

    Bad Times

Hussey was one of our better players today.......wasnt he? Baker was unlucky to get a red card (after the theatrics from Wellens and the ref being hounded into a hasty decision).......... wasnt he?? I dont think McSheffrey knew where he was playing today, and was once again poor. Bell always...

    Martyn Waghorn

Not a rumour!! Just a thought. Very good striker at this level. Doubt he'll get a look in at Molester after thier spending spree (bet thay will come and haunt me today). Did read one club were chasing him. Doubt he's on much of a wage. Maybe we could tap him up today, or make a cheeky loan bid??

    "Huge Police Operation" Tomorrow

I remember when I was first given the parents approval to swear at a football match. The first word I was alowd to use was "Crap". Oh how that came in handy as I was watching City :) Now a days, I must admit, language is a bit more blue at the matches! And I do agree, the majority of fans use...

    "Huge Police Operation" Tomorrow

Yh ive seen summit similar before ( and may have read it on here about Millwall. Def heard it somewhere). Annoys me that people like this can be associated with our club, but it is great when the bigger boys show them how its done (shame it dont shut the little shites up though). Its times like...

    Visiting Fans behaviour

Unfortunately his describes some of our 'fans' aswell. Then again im sure all clubs have these type of 'fans'. The word cowards springs to mind when i see this kind of supporter giving it the biggun and then scarpering!
