    West Ham rent...discuss...

Yeah I saw that. But if I was a West Ham fan I'd be looking at us and asking the question what if we go down, the parachute payments run out, the wage bill stays high and the crowds drop. Even halved at £1.25m that's still comparable to what we were paying in the championship.

    West Ham rent...discuss...

Very nice but what is the naming rights for West Hams ground going to be?

    West Ham rent...discuss...

How much are the naming rights worth then over what period of time? Didn't see a value in the article but it did say that the get nothing of the first £4M and then they only get half of the balance. It also doesn't look like they get 365day a year income either just match day, didn't read the...

    West Ham rent...discuss...

    Really? Who's paying them?

    West Ham rent...discuss...

I can see this going the same way we did with the Ricoh. Especially if they get relegated and dont bounce straight back. Sounds like it's all built on staying in the premier league. What could possibly go wrong?

    West Ham rent...discuss...

Quote from West Ham in the article: The club added: "Someone renting the stadium for 25 days a year cannot be responsible for 365 days' running costs." Doesn't sound like it.

    Loan Players 2016/17

It stands to reason that we will have to dip into the loan market again. What i would hope is that next season the squad isn't dependant on them like this season and they are a suppliment not the back bone.

    WASPS Interim Accounts

Thanks Dave. Of course we're not (as far as we know) paying wages and costs of running the F&B at the Ricoh but are taking a cut of the profits. So I guess there is some degree of swings and roundabouts going on. At the end of the day it's a key part of ACL's business and unlike last year...

Coventry City staring into Football Abyss

The bit I really can't believe is that you seem to think it was all done in the best interests of the club and was done for the long term future of the club.

Coventry City staring into Football Abyss

So you're either a wasps fan then or completely misinformed. Let's look at your claim then that moving the club to Northampton made good business sense because the club was saddled with unsustainable rent and there was no other options within the city. One, the club was no longer saddled with...

    WASPS Interim Accounts

No expert. Just working out some figures based on what Dave said and unlike you I believe that he does have some experience in this field. Now £75-120k don't sound too shabby to me. Is it a lower GP than CCFC's season? Couldn't tell you but then by the same token you probably can't tell me...

    WASPS Interim Accounts

But we're not paying that anymore numb nuts so yes 1or 2 one day concerts are worth about one season of CCFC games. Might not be what anyone wants to hear but if you work somewhere in the middle of Dave's estimate per head times 30000 (40000 I believe is the Ricoh limit for open air concerts) so...

    WASPS Interim Accounts

So basically 1 or 2 one day concerts bring in as much as a season of CCFC games? Not too shabby really.

    WASPS Interim Accounts

Out of interest how much profit do the concerts yield?

    WASPS Interim Accounts

It does seem to fly in the face of the opinion often repeated on here that it was undersold. Doesn't bode well for JR2 if that ends up being about the sale price. If anything you could argue that it back's the council when they say it was the best deal for the taxpayer. Offloaded a failing...

Grendull has some actual facts? This should be interesting. I'm all eyes and ears.

    WASPS Interim Accounts

You're probably grateful then that the council and higgs didn't burden the club with it then? Sounds like you're saying that they did the club a favour by selling it to wasps instead of us.

You're not complaining that other people are bumping it up while bumping it up yourself so you are not a moron for that reason. You're a moron because you don't seem to be able to grasp that very simple concept though ;)
