    First to the fourth

Yeah they're mentioned indirectly in my first post! Either of our opponents. They've done first to fifth.

    First to the fourth

Portsmouth yes, forgot about them. Oldham have only fallen as far as us, but looking likely to join the first to fourth club alongside us. Stockport have never been in the top flight as far as i am aware

    First to the fourth

How many clubs have done it? Funny that either opponent in the FLT final have both done it and some, both having dropped out of the league, although Luton did make their way back up to the second tier less than 10 years ago. Burnley Wolves Bradford City Notts County Can anybody think of any...

Oxford played there in 86 and Luton in 88, what's your point? The Wembley crowd is meaningless, the club needs consistent good gates to show potential. One off events isn't potential.

    New Coventry Council House Why???

Good point mate. I don't even live in Cov but get sick of hearing the moaning. As somebody who lives away from Cov I can actually see incremental improvements happening, it's easier to notice when you don't spend as much time somewhere. I am going for a pint before the game Saturday in town...

I hated that one for some reason. I liked last season's one

Come on Nick, while I understand the point you're making about some of the NOPM martyrs, just let them be. They have zero credibility and that's all that matters.

Ignore that Fleck got a significant pay rise, and sorry, he played here for 4 seasons so CCFC fans (the ones who go) are very well placed to say how good he is, more so than Sheffield United fans are.

That doesn't reflect in his decision not to seek compensation. Are you suggesting that he didn't have the tools to do his job?

    Mowbray

You're exaggerating how good the squad was I think. It was very strong when we were top but weakened significantly when Turner went back and when Kent did. Despite the enormous talent of Murphy and Armstrong, it was pretty ordinary otherwise including Fleck.

15K to Hillsborough for the 87 quarter must be in the running for the biggest away support at that stage of the competition

What have the Venkys done wrong at Blackburn? I think they have delusions of grandeur as a symptom of the post Walker millions hangover. Are they expecting to be bankrolled ad infinitum?

    Anyone miss walking past here

It really looked fantastic that day. You don't seem to get that brightness and vibrancy in the Ricoh and the less said about the pitch the better.

Keep an eye on results tonight

It really doesn't matter that much about other teams' results. We need to take care of our own results first. The teams in the relegation mix will change between now and the last game no doubt.

    New Coventry Council House Why???

Something similar is happening with Manchester Town Hall, £330m is the cost of refurbishing it!
