The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Its not that simple. Leaving the common market will kill this country in a way that will take decades to recover from. We'll lose a big section of the international banking business that London is built on for starters because they will lose something called passporting which allows them to deal...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Found these regarding Norway's contributions to the EU in return for EEA membership which in return gives them entrance into the common market, they also have to allow free movement of people between the EU and themselves. http://www.eu-norway.org/eu/Financial-contribution/#.V3TkCtQrLGg...

The result was recorded by the person not the region.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No it wasn't. It was counted in regions but it was one man one vote. Only the total number of votes counted not the the number of regions.

None. It was one man one vote.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I never said it would. It could however make it difficult and at this moment in time no one knows how difficult and that worries the people that it effects. Both sides of the border. Personally I think they'll be no change. The levels of access companies especially banks need to the common...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You'd be surprised with Northern Ireland, at the moment it seems to be unifying the political divide rather than fractioning it. The Northern Ireland economy is largely based on trade with the south especially in the border counties. Northern Ireland can't afford a complete split from the EU and...

    Cov university

Most councils have failed to bring investment into town and city centre's for decades. There aren't too many places that you can go where the high street isn't full of a combination of empty, charity, pound and card shops. Big traditional chains like Woolworths and now BHS have disappeared and...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I had a very good, very long conversation with a sensible mate the other day who voted out not on the basis of immigration. We both believe that freedom of movement between the UK and the EU will remain as part of our deal to remain in the common market and he admitted that he never thought...

Isn't there calls (not as strong as there was here but they're growing) for exit referendums in Denmark, Holland, Italy and indeed France? The Danes especially I believe.

    Flags

I heard that the flags that the club wanted to put up were refused because they didn't have a fire certificate. Joke.

    Cov university

To be fair when I come into Coventry driving around the ring road with the exception of the motor museum if the building isn't something to do with the university it looks a shit hole. The university I would argue is something to cherish as it's redeveloping the City centre .

The passporting is a major point. Still reading up on it but from what I've gathered so far is that we'll have to join the EEA to gain it. Failure to do this could potentially seriously damage the UK financial industry and Britain's proud boast of being the banking hub of Europe. Canary Wharf...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yeah. I was hoping that George Osborne's fairly positive no need for an emergency budget speech would have a similar effect to the BOE statement on Friday but it didn't. I think things are going to be very unstable and mainly negative now until the tory leadership is sorted and possibly even...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

This is again where Boris has been very cunning. As far as I can understand what he's written in his column is one half of the deal that Norway has. The other half is basically a mirror. In other words what he's saying that British people will get from EU member states will also get from the UK...

    Matchday ticket prices ?!

Just to be clear. I wasn't saying pay on the gate has been scraped. I was asking if it has been scraped. Can't see anything on the clubs site saying one way or the other.
