    England v Holland

The current crop of players do create a bit of optimism around our chances. And was good to see us competing without Shrek! I hate Rooney at international level. He never seems to cut it! Thought Aelbeck offered more, although he did need someone alongside him!

What a nasty clash in run up to the 2nd goal. Brave challenge by both players. Wish them both a speedy recovery.

Ex Cov players that are now International manager

Sorry, shouldn't have put just players. Was personnel linked to City who had played or managed us in the past

Ex Cov players that are now International manager

Mercia reported there are three ex City players who are managing Internationals tonight; Coleman and Pearce are the obvious ones but they also mention Michael O'Neil. Who is this guy? Anyone know? I don't recall us having a player by that name on our books?? Wiki says it was between 96 - 98...

Special report on Pompey now - SSN

I agree. Although SISU seem reluctant to spend, they ARE funding us and keeping our finances in tact. Yes, I like others, would prefer to see them out of the club, but whilst they keep us afloat until someone with a bit more ambition comes along, I'm happy that we can. E considered financially...

    Wheres the Tesco Stand gone???

Changing the stand layout / access to rows would cause problems. What would the 'true sky blue' people with padded seats do? Would they be compensated for being made to move? Although I dont think we sold too many at the time, i bet there are a fair share in the 'Tesco / vacant stand name'...

    Big ben

If only we still had him to play alongside Keogh!! Or alongside Dann with Keogh at RB!! Imagine! Werent we also linked with another Cardiff player - Gerard - when we signed Dann / Fox? The one who missed the vital pen. Poor fella. I wonder if the Cardiff fans will make a video up about him...

    Ben Turner last 2 games

Stan Collymore praised his performance alongside Hudson. I'm definately pleased for Turner! Was never convinced with him when Dowie persisted with him and played him week in, week out, but he proved to us why Dowie put so much faith in the lad!

    Weren't Barnsley dreadful

As much as I hate supporting CCFC at times, I'd hate to support Barnsley. To go domewhere and play as poorly as them but still try and play for only one point? And I thought Thorn was negative; not half as negative as their manager was today, and he's an experienced manager!
