Hardly nonsense - as we have established your rating of players in the past hardly enhances your credibility - have you seen what others rated Palmer today?
Why? If he broke his leg next week will the club give him a two year deal as compensation or bin him off? We would not have offered him a deal if he had his ACL on the last day of his contract would we?
The club has to - its no different if someone has an illness in a company that means they cannot work for 9 months - or if someone is on maternity leave and paid - they can still move if they were offered more money
Palmer was poor and showed against strong teams at this level he does have obvious weaknesses. We would have lost if he played 90 minutes - a seven minimum is laughable
To be fair I don’t think anyone would ever have believed O Hare was suddenly able to score goals at will as it was something missing from his game. Now he looks the best scoring midfielder we’ve had at the club for decades on current form
Not really - he wasn’t as influential and someone did actually scream in my face when I said we might actually have a chance now Palmer is off the pitch - needless to say I lived on that for the next 15 minutes
I have seen it back in the bar - it’s difficult to say it’s not a penalty in truth - probably unlucky that it’s given in open play but it’s a dumb challenge
I couldn’t see it as a penalty - he got the ball - he was high I guess and it was a risky challenge but he got the ball - Thomas has had a dire game in truth - don’t see it as a red but a reckless challenge
As a fan of course it is as you go for the excitement and atmosphere as well as the game. It’s a huge game and the feel good factor of a win will be far more than the Plymouth game
