We are very strong as regards first team but I'd argue about depth as regards quality. Yes we have numbers but I'm not sure we have enough depth in quality

I don't think there is much of a role currently for Palmer if the suggested shape/formation is going to be used . Can't see him staying as a sub every week in case we need a change of formation
