I know not liking Sheaf has become your bit to an extent so you have to double down, you aren't alone on this forum in weirdly over or underestimating one particular player and making it a thing... but, like, you don't actually think our midfield is better without him do you?

Whatever happens its been a truly embarrassing end to the league season, a season when the play offs were wide open again. Much to ponder for Robins over the summer.

A 24 year old in demand who just got in team of the season would be less likely to want to be 'backup' if anything. You aren't making the sense you think you I'm afraid.
It's not really about BNC, I agree with Brighton that he'd be a decent signing although I think money is better spent...
Yep, I've already said in another thread I don't want to be buying anyone who's considered a back up, something I'll be repeating a lot over the summer I'm sure. You could say EMC is a backup but in reality he's a £4m+ signing who's going to play a lot and make our overall squad much stronger...
Absolutely bonkers. I don't even know what Eccles would sell for, it's very hard to gauge what other clubs would value him at.

Yes MVE and Saka is a very good right side at this level, I'd argue it could do a job in the Prem. His loss was a big one.

Correct. The drop off from the 1st 11, outside of a couple of players, has been noticeable. New players need to be interchangeable with what is considered the current 1st 11.

Don't really want to buy a 'backup' anything. All our new signings should be challenging for place in the first 11.
