    Easter weekend (make or break)

The ship has sailed. Failure to beat the teams at the bottom have cost us.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bradford City Match Thread - Friday 19th Apr

That was my sons first game aged 5. I wanted to take him so he saw us in the Prem. He hasn't since but was hooked from that first shit game the poor sod. Remember Carlton Palmer heading over from about 4 yds out at a corner. That was about the highlight of the game.

    Heading to L1

it will depend on FFP. They can only run at a certain loss for 2 seasons as Birmingham recently found out. They have cut their costs but had to pay off the 2 players at the start of the season which I think was 12-16 million depending on which figures you take. They should be a force with...

    If both were available ...

Ricoh for me. The Butts is too small. Offer Wasps what it would cost to redevelop the Butts for a 50% share of the Ricoh.

    Heading to L1

Sunderland will lose the parachute payment next season. They won’t be able to retain the likes of Cattermole on 50k a week contracts. They will still have a top budget but will probably need a squad rebuild with the loss of parachute payments.

Legals Update This Week / SISU Lose chance to appeal

So SHITSU hit with costs as well. Let’s hope this is the end of the legals and we can go back to the good old days of talk about how great/shit our 1-11 is. Somehow I doubt it though.

    Biamou

Probably just renting it out. He will have a pad in leafy Lemington.

    Cllr GGeorge Duggins

We had to have a lot, bat clear report, another report as we have neighbouring oak trees that are protected due to there age that the new foundation wouldn't interfere with their roots as well as all the normal structural engineer, architects plans etc. We also had to prove we could fit 5 cars...

    Cllr GGeorge Duggins

Do you think the council will sell this prime site without seeing detailed plans? I never once mentioned planning permission! Numpty? Pot and kettle fella.

    Cllr GGeorge Duggins

The council are/have been playing twats without a doubt but SISU have put in a couple of pages about a stadium build to the council which has been treated the contempt it deserves. I had an extension on my house and paperwork handed into the local council had to be 1\2 an inch thick before they...

Match Thread Barnsley vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 30th Mar

I think it is the fact they park the bus and try to win on set pieces which we are uber pump at defending. We play better against teams that attack us. Also because our strikers need 3-4 chances each before 1 scores. Bright has made a difference to this since he arrived. Shame he wasn't here...

Match Thread Barnsley vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 30th Mar

We were shit against teams in the bottom 6 last season as well. If we do miss out on the playoffs which looks likely now it will be because of this.

    Checkatrade Final

To be honest I don't care. I don't hate Sunderland and 99% of their fans don't hate us. Just the odd bitter few. Well done to Pompey, it's always nice to get a pot in the cupboard.

    Rarely mentioned past players.......

He was an appalling player. I never saw him play a decent game for us and used to groan at his selection if he popped up.

    Rarely mentioned past players.......

Talking of good left backs Kenny Sansom. Rolls Royce of a player.

    Rarely mentioned past players.......

He was dog shit. One of the worst players I have seen in a city shirt. He made Ryan Haynes look like Maldini. 3 years at the club and made 36 appearances. 1 particular game sticks in the mind away to Man City where he was to blame for all 3 Man City goals.

Tim said we are moving to rugby

I agree I can't see Wasp/the council letting SISU get their hands on the stadium if Wasps go pop unless they are the highest bidder by a long way. I think they would rather it was housing than hand it over. What would it be worth to a developer? It's prime building land. Excellent road...

Tim said we are moving to rugby

The more I think about it the more I smell bullshit. It's only going to take the police to object to it being stopped. Can't see them giving the nod if it's as people describe. Local residents are going to be up in arms. Sounds like another classic Fishface whopper.

Tim said we are moving to rugby

Can see it now. We move to Rugby, JR3 is launched, Wasps last 3 or 4 years, go bankrupt, sell the Ricoh to the highest bidder which is a developer, it's knocked down and becomes a housing estate. Meanwhile the City are in Rugby..........

    Head of Recruitment Interview

Chances are Bright will sign for mid to lower end Championship club on double or treble the wages we will pay. we might have a small sniff if we go up. Would love to see him stay but can't see it.
